CHAPTER Caroline had never spent a longer five minutes. Twice the waiter came and asked if he should clear Calvin’s plate, but Caroline had no idea if her husband was finished eating or not. So far on their formal date, they’d spent more time away from each other than together. Not that Caroline would complain.
