Chrissy snored under the desk, and Kim’s cart rumbled on the landing above. Autumn knew Kim had a lot of work upstairs with two official guests plus Autumn and Ray, especially the one guest that required the work of several guests.
Autumn flipped her auburn hair behind her as she went over the final to-do list. The extravaganza was two days away, and there were lots of last-minute details to tend to. She took great joy in checking off completed tasks and lowered her stress by adding to the list so she wouldn’t forget anything. Elizabeth’s organizational skills put her much further along in the plans than she could hope for doing it alone.
