One second after Catalina made her decision, she discarded her ridiculous idea!
Leo was special to her... He wasn't just her client, she wanted to cherish the memories of their night...
Taking a deep breath, finally, Catalina shoves his business card back into her handbag.
Since it was late for her to leave to Indiana, she called Evelyn and let her know she's coming over to her place though it was a bit far from the hospital but still around Columbia.
She entered a cab and took off to Evelyn's place, it took her over thirty minutes before she arrived.
She rapped at Evelyn's doorpost and was led in by her as she was grinning at Evelyn.
Catalina made herself comfortable while Evelyn served her fruits, she loosed appetite in food but managed to take the fruit just to sustain hunger.
"Catalina, I've been reading your facial expressions since you came in, your face isn't bright at all, hope all is well?" Evelyn asked but Catalina turned deaf ear to her question.
"Your visit to Columbia seemed unplanned, what's behind it? I know there's a reason for your coming," Evelyn added.
Catalina managed to speak out her mind after minutes elapsed.
"Evelyn,I really need your help, my mom is in the hospital bed," Catalina said sobbing again.
What she said choked Evelyn that she quivered, "what's wrong with her?"
"The doctor said she's suffering from Renal disease and it's high time it started, out of $4,000 that was charged, I've paid $1000,I have no other money with me now that's why I'm here to ask for your help," Catalina said sounding husky.
Evelyn gasped and stood up, she moved to Catalina and sat beside her.
"It's unfortunate such thing befell you but ummm... she isn't dead... honestly, I'm bankrupt, if you would take my other opinion, then it will help you," Evelyn narrated holding her hands.
Catalina sighed and begged, "Evelyn don't do this me, no matter how little it is, I'm okay with it."
"I'm very serious, there's this man I'll fix you with tonight, he's darn wealthy and will absolutely pay you in huge, trust me, you'll get more than you expected if you work with him," Evelyn assured her.
That has always been an alternative she renders to Catalina.
"Fine, so when is the man coming or am I to go meet him?" After a moment of silence, Catalina had no choice but to accept the "suggestion".
"Well, he will be here soon, I would have stay with him tonight if you weren't here, but there's no issue, think less and work hard," Evelyn gave her a smirk.
Almost Thirtyminutes, Catalina has been waiting for the so called man until he arrived and walked into the sitting room.
Catalina stared at him and grimaced then left to call Evelyn.
"You gotta visitor to attend to," she said and twisted her face.
Evelyn left to see the man, she offered him a seat as the exchanged pleasantries.
"The lady you just saw now is the one staying with you tonight," Evelyn explained, while the man nodded at her with a huge smile on his face.
"Evelyn, what the hell are you doing? I guess that man is in his early fifties and must be with a family,"Catalina growled.
"So what's the problem with that?" Evelyn asked her.
"I don't work with married men and you know that, I need someone single like I am,"
Catalina explained, trying to lower her voice as much as possible.
Evelyn laughed inwardly and clapped her hands, "that's why you fall behind, married men pay in huge okay, you need to start with your bright smile and the word of please, you know, moaning 'please' in bed." Evelyn said to her.
Catalina couldn't utter a word, looking at Evelyn, she was a little frustrated. Catalina knew that Evelyn made a lot of money from married men, but she pretended that she's broke just to refuse to lend her money...
Catalina sighed inwardly, if she had a better choice, she would never have accepted the "opportunity" Evelyn gave her.
Holding the man's arm, Catalina now just hoped that the night would not go too crazy...
However, her instincts told her, that this horny married man would never end the night easily.
