I was heading back to my room when I saw Vera and Lisa in the middle of an argument. I didn’t say anything. I just stood there, watching, curious to see how Vera would handle this situation.
Lisa wasn’t someone to be taken lightly. If I hadn’t met Vera, I would have marked Lisa as my mate. She was beautiful, strong, and everyone in the pack admired her. But with Vera… everything had changed.
