I quickly wore the dress and rushed downstairs to meet the guests. They had already arrived a few minutes ago. I heard laughter and greetings when I went down. They were all talking to Austin.
I didn’t recognise anybody. When Austin saw me standing there like a statue , he brought me forward and introduced me to everyone.
"This is Sanya, Rahul, Josephine " he said pointing to them. They were around my age or maybe younger. Sanya came and hugged me .
" Sanya and Rahul are my cousin's and Josephine is my friend. We know each other since we were kids.
I gave her a small smile and she smiled too. Mathew was his uncle and Clara , his aunt. They all liked me and they were nothing like his Mom and Dad. I was glad.
I went in kitchen to make some snacks for them when Josephine joined me.
