Chapter 2:Smell like sin

I shake the girl off of me and move in the direction of the wonderful smell. It smells like sin, chocolate, and strawberries.

As I follow the scent to the stairs leading to the VIP suites, I see the man who was eye f*****g me, looking down at me with a possessive expression in his eyes. His posture is hard and taut, and I am aware of it too.

The tug of mating is strong between us.

With minimal room to move, he descends and approaches me head-on, causing my neck to twitch in order to meet his nearly black, dark brown eyes.

He growls, "Mate," sending shivers down my spine.

"Yes," I mumble incoherently.

His eyes go gloomy when I speak. "Mine," he adds in a predatory tone that instantly makes me feel uncomfortable.

"Yes," I reply again before he slams his lips into mine. Holy sh*t! my body erupts as though an orgasm tore through me.

With growls, he swallows my loud groans, and I leap up onto him, encircling his waist with my legs.

His length slams into my centre as he tightly grasps me, and oh goddess, is it delicious. Our lips are assaulting each other, our hands can't find a place to land, and our noises are utterly animalistic. As we stare into one other's eyes, we separate to take in some much-needed oxygen. I'm breathing in his breath, and he's breathing heavily like me.

"You're coming with me." It was a command, and I was happy to obey.

"MMmmm, take me." He lets go of me and grabs my hand. With him leading the way, we exit the club and cross the street to the parking garage. He approaches a plain, matte-black SUV. Although it's not an extremely costly vehicle for an alpha, it appears to fit him.

His hands exploring my body, his mouth smashing into mine again, he spins me around and smashes me into the car before we even get to the door.

He opens his mouth, and I give a little cry of disapproval, which makes him smile at me. "What's your name gorgeous?" With every day, I could drift to heaven while listening to his gruff voice.

"Phina," you say, panting. I clarify as he raises an eyebrow at me. "Seraphina, but everyone calls me Phina." I yank him back to my lips by grabbing his hair. I take him away before he can go too deep into it and give him his own meds.

"How about you Alpha?" He smiles broadly at my audacity.

Albert, Alphia Damion Charles from the Pack of Cedrus." I've tried to consider every pack I'm aware of, but this one doesn't seem familiar to me. I give him a kiss on the lips and enter his vehicle. He gets into the car from the other side and turns it on.

"It's about a 2 hour drive, you don't need to go home to say goodbye to your family?"

It's common to relocate right away after meeting your soul partner, and leaving loved ones behind can be difficult for some people, but fortunately I have no attachments.

I turn to face him and say, "You'll have me all to yourself because I'm not part of this territory and have no relations to speak of." His smile fades and he stops asking inquiries the way a normal person would.

That planning look is one I've seen before, but for the time being I ignore it.

His hand settles on my upper thigh and moves up towards my pulsating c**t as we pull onto the main road. I swear, it seems like I'm experiencing my first period once more. The heat is making it difficult for me to breathe, but I'm eager to f**k you," I mutter.

He says with all the confidence in the world, "Don't worry sweetheart, you'll get f****d and mated before the night is over, and then you'll belong to me." I give him a sly smile and stroke my thigh in circles with the top of his palm.

"I'll be happy to let you think so, but I don't belong to anyone."

We used the s****| innuendos to cut the tension because we knew we had a two-hour Phinaurney ahead of us. He had to focus on the road, even though the heat was still visible in our eyes.

He never takes his hand off my thigh as I caress his arm and hand, simply savouring the sensation of my partner.

We departed the city, Alter. I mentally bid farewell to the town I've lived in for the previous three years.

I've never given having a partner any thought. With my current life, I've never even considered having one. It's not common for wolves to find a mate, and alphas in particular seldom do. I must therefore modify my life to suit his.

"So how long have you been a lone wolf?" His gaze never straying from the road as he asks.

"About 10 years, give or take." I shrug, as if it were no big thing. I prefer to respond in brief, straightforward terms.

It is pointless to discuss the past.

He glances briefly at my face before turning his sight back. "To remain a lone wolf for that long is truly frightening.

I'm shocked that you haven't lost your mind."

Indeed, a decade is a long time. More than I'd like to acknowledge. "Wolves without a purpose in life, rogues just pursue what they believe is rightfully theirs. I've never desired authority over others, and I can support myself without endangering the lives of others, therefore I've never considered going rogue."

When I answer, he smiles, which makes me happy! could bring him a smile. "Cedrus Pack is someone I've never heard of; you must be really little or new.

He has a small frown on his face, so I assumed he misunderstood me when he said, "There's nothing wrong with either of those things, just curiosity." I'm sorry if it seemed like I didn't value it." To be honest, I felt awful, especially when his silence was met with it.
