As it was already morning, the sun was shining bright spelling the end of the longest night in the history of Dulara kingdom. It is expected of everyone to be present at the court hall for the revelation of the new member of the royal family. It was a custom of the kingdom, whenever the Queen gives birth, the baby will be revealed to the members of the court the next morning. The revelation which must be made by the King himself is a necessity before a child could be registered in the records of the royal family. The palace was heavenly filled with people chattering around, even before the announcement by the king, they already knew that the queen gave birth to a girl again. They all were witnesses to what happened last night, but now they also know of the miracles that happened during the birth of this child. The hall was huge and tall, painted such that the hall looks as if it was electroplated with gold. Two long pieces of red royal carpets were laid from the stairs to the throne; on top of the two stairs were king guards fully armoured, with long swords hanging on their waists. Ten carved chairs with turned legs, energetic carvings, pierced-metal decorations and unpredictable combinations were placed in the hall. The ten chairs belonged to the ten members of the court. The king's chair was made differently from the others, for he was the head. It was a Portuguese like furniture which has the mixture of vigorous royal carving It was placed on a higher position from the others. It was made from mahogany tree, it has an intricate cresting on top and carved armrest for the king to rest his arms. Beside the sit was a resting place for the king's sword. At each side of the hall, seats were kept for the high subjects, the royal families to sit on, while the rest are left to stand on their feet. On top of the building was the terrace, it is located far away from the men, for the ladies to seat on. Meanwhile in the queen's chamber, the king and queen started a heated conversation. The king wore a gold-work closely woven silk antariya, with a block printed pattern on it. On top of it, he wore a green surcoat with a white and gold jewellery around his neck, the cost of which alone can cost his subjects a lifetime to get. Even the wealthy ones can't get it because it was only meant for the royals. "You are a king, you don't expect people to tell you what to do in your own kingdom. You have to make a decision." Queen Lika clutched her baby tightly around her gold-stitched shalwar kameez. Her hands adorned with two pairs of emerald set, gold bangles and three huge gold necklaces. "Don't you think this is a sign from God? You are a wise ruler and a brave warrior, think wisely when it comes to your heir." Three beautiful princesses came into the room walking majestically, all dressed in long gowns with golden embroidery perculiar to the royal family. "Good morning your highness" They bowed to the king in unison. "Rise Princesses, you can address me as Papa when we are not in court." the king signalled.  "i hope you slept well even though last night was a scary night?" "Yes your highness...oh Sorry Papa" They giggled, then they turned to greet their mother who sat beside the king. "Come here" the queen ordered them to stand by her side. "Where is our little sister?" The smallest of the three asked. "Here" The queen loosened her grip on her new born daughter. They looked at their cute little sister gushing over her, they shouted and jumped of joy. Meanwhile the king was thinking deeply, before he left them to address the court. The king left his chamber with his guards trailing behind him, all holding onto their swords, some bow and arrow. Silence reigned over the hall as soon as the king and his entourage walked in, all the people bowed as he walked past them to his seat. "You may sit" The king ordered. He then placed the sword of kings on it's resting place. "The queen, gave birth to a girl again, we all have witnessed or at least know of strange happenings during the times of birth of this child." "Yes" The hall echoed. "You all know that I must name an heir. I believe what happened yesterday were omens and as such..." The king paused before Finally making the announcement. "I, the 36th king Aamad Chauhan of Dulari kingdom, standing before God and man, here by name Princess Aafreen Aamad Chauhan as the crown princess and the rirightful heir to the throne. The first crown princess, and with the passage of days the first Queen of this kingdom" "Huh" everyone present gasped in shock. "Your highness..." one of the court members said in concern "Please reconsider" The ten court members echoed together. There is not a single person in the room that wasn't shocked by the king 's decision. This is the first time in history that this kingdom is having a crown princess, they can't allow that, but who are they to go against the king. Low murmur erupted in the hall. Meanwhile, the Queen mother quickly stood up and was about to match to walk down to her son. To her suprise someone held her back. Enraged she turned to see who dares to touch her, preventing her from advancing. She was shocked to find queen Lika holding her baby with her right while she used her left hand to hold her back. "Not this time mother."  The queen Whispered. "How dare you!" The queen mother was spitting angry words. Immediately the queen realised she's made a mistake she let go of the queen mother. The queen mother then proceeded downstairs, of course she will make her pay for this, just not now. "But your highness, this isn't right, you should have consulted us before taking such drastic decision and as a matter of fact girls don't rule, did you forget that my king?" A middle-aged man with a draped black robe over his shoulder spoke, he was seated at the right side of the king as he spoke, and then he stood up. "Yes brother, the head of the council is right." How can your just-born daughter be the crowned as an heir, when we all know without a prince born to you he is the next in line for the throne. Besides he has been practicing on how to rule as a king" one of the council men supported the king's brother. "I am the king!" He shouted as he swiftly unsheathed the long sword resting beside him. It was a long and beautiful sword with a golden handle, it had some ancient words carved on it. The carvings on the blade lit up with red glow, the carvings only lit up when a true ruler wields the sword. The sword gave the king an aura of a god of war, his words were overpowering that not even his mother who just arrived downstairs dared to move a muscle. Instead, she unconsciously took two hurried step backward in fear, it was too late to stop the king because, an order passed by a king holding the sword was irreversible, no matter how wrong or right it was. The hall went dead silent, as if everyone in there was dead and they all submitted to the might of their king and the might of the sword of kings. "I here by name Aafreen as the crown princess and the next heir to the throne, against me and you shall face the wrath of the swords of kings" His words were majestic as they echoed through the hall. All of a sudden the pupils of the highest priest turned bright, he tapped the butt of his staff making the baby fly out of her mother's arm to hover in the air as he spoke words that silenced even the . "So it was ordained long before the birth of the stars, let no man go against the rule of heaven, lest he shall turn to ash"  "So it shall be" The king affirmed. With that said, the king walked out majestically drawing the tip of his long sword on the ground, with that his trusted warriors trailed behind him, a clear indication that no one dares oppose the crown. "I'll make you pay" The queen mother also left the hall not before glancing at her daughter in law with hatred. Holding her baby once again, Queen Lika wore a satisfactory smile.
