Denise, a woman in her late fifties stood in front of a gate staring at the two trunks in front of her.
She glanced at the gate knowing that her boss's daughter will come out soon and throw the rest of her belongings out.
She had just been fired because of Clair, her boss' daughter.
Clair had framed her for stealing her expensive bracelet and she was threatened to leave the house without her pay check or rot in jail. Denise knew best to leave.
As she waited, a brand new red car drove towards her.
The person at the driver's seat wind down the window and stared at her.
As their eyes locked, Denise and the young man felt a strong connection to each other. They felt familiar but for the past fifty years Denise had lived on earth, she could swear that she hadn't met him before.
"Are you lost? Do you need directions?" She asked.
Just then, Clair barged out of the house and threw a bag at Denise. She was about to go back in when she made a U-turn struck at her sight.
The man in the car was extremely handsome and he was riding the latest technology car.
Clair inhaled sharply.
She tucked her hair behind her ear and walked towards him.
"Do you need help, sir?" She asked, a bright smile on her face.
"No and even if I do, probably not from someone like you." The man said, his expression cold.
He pushed the door open and stepped out.
As his first foot made contact with the floor, Clair gasped.
She could swear on her life that the shoe was no less than &2, 000, 000.
She glanced inside the car and saw his ID card.
"Javier Lopez, CEO of..." She read aloud but Javier interrupted her.
"Who are you to call me by my name?" The icy gaze he gave her almost made her pee in her panties.
"I'm sorry. I'm really sorry." She apologized, unaware of her offense.
Javier scoffed and walked towards Denise.
"Hi." He said, his expression blank.
"Hello." For a few seconds, Denise wished she was in her twenties so she could date a man like him: handsome and wealthy.
"Get in the car. I'll give you a ride."
Denise was so tempted to go into his car but stopped herself. "Why?" She asked.
"Because I want to help you."
"You don't look like someone who'd pick up and old woman on the street just to help her."
"Then take this." He pulled out a bundle of dollar notes from his pocket and stretched it at her.
He withdrew his hand when she made no attempt of taking the money from him.
"Why are you giving me money?"
"Because I want to."
Denise chuckled, staring at him with raised brows. "You can't just wake up one morning and decide to give money to anyone you see on the road, right?"
"You're not just anyone."
"What do you mean?"
Clair was fuming in anger that Denise received all the attention she wanted.
Javier glanced at her signifying her to leave.
She hesitated but she couldn't stand his domineering aura and rushed in.
Javier turned back to Denise.
"Let's go into the car."
"Not until you tell me why you decided to help me." Denise was persistent.
"Do you have kids? I mean don't you have a child that should help you in lifting the trunks. If you have none, can't you let me do it this once."
"What is your intention?"
"I'm Javier Lopez. Lopez? Doesn't it ring a bell?"
Denise eyes widened but she immediately pretended not to know him.
"I don't know what you're talking about." She denied.
She picked the bag on the floor held onto both trunks and dragged them as she walked away from him.
"What is wrong with you?! You have nowhere to go!" Javier yelled in anger but she ignored him.
He scoffed and got into his car, slowly following her.
"Fine! You can pretend you don't know me but permit me to help you with the trunks.
"You should go back. Your parents will be waiting for you." Denise said, avoiding his eyes.
"I have no parents. The mother I had was forcefully chased away from me."
"Go away." She muttered unsure of what to say next.
Twenty seven years ago, she had worked for the Lopez family as a cook. Mr Lopez known for his wild habits when drunk r***d her in his drunk state because he got home and couldn't find his family who went on a vacation.
After Mrs Lopez found out that she was pregnant for her husband, she was told to keep the baby after it was born and leave or her sick father will be secretly killed with no trace and the baby will also be killed...
"You're not saying anything!" Javier interrupted her thoughts.
"What do you want from me?!" She turned to him and yelled.
"I want you to admit being my mother."
(Preview of the next episode: "Okay, that's enough. You can take your leave now!" Javier ordered, glaring at Aurora.
To his surprise, she glared back.
"Listen here, you SpongeBob. Stop acting like you own the world."
"What did you call me?!" Javier's anger sparked.)
