“You must be out of your mind, Lucas,” Jamie said as she paced back and forth in the foyer. “What do you mean by you are moving to Japan?”
“I want to be closer to the girls. I want my family back.”
Jamie scoffed. “You already have your family. We are here!” She replied, trying to make me change my mind. But it was already made up.
I canceled on the kids the first time because I had things to take care of before moving. Plus, Becky didn’t want me to leave.
