His anger boiled over as he glared at Talia. "What the hell is wrong with you, Talia? Lily had nothing to do with us. She was innocent in all of this. And you go and hurt her? That's beyond messed up!"
Talia, maintaining her facade of strength, retorted, "She was with you. Anyone near you is a threat. I won't let anyone take you away."
Jonathan shook his head in disbelief. "This has to stop, Talia. You can't just go around hurting people because of your delusions. It's not right."
