Chapter 20

Mia

I haven't had that much fun in awhile. I forgot that my life still needed to go on without having a kid. Then I remembered she's not here and her dad tried to kill me last night. Everyone didn't notice that I lost my train of thought. It was like I on autopilot. Going through the motions. Reality hit me that the 2 years that I spent with Beau. The memories came flooding back. Why would life be doing this to me all of a sudden. I thought I was over all of this. I remembered the diner had a back entrance.

"I need to go the bathroom" I say. I left my phone behind on purpose.

"I can come to if you want" Mira asked me.

"I'm good. I'll just be real quick" I say.

"Ok" they continue eating. They were none the wiser and I slipped out the backdoor. I walked around and was hit with dread. I saw a building and just went in.

"M is that you"

"Lea" I say.

"Last time I checked" she says. I smiled at her.

"Lea you have no idea what's going on do you"

"I saw the news last night. You got lucky"

"Lea since last night they've gotten bad again"

"Where's Henry"

"I left them at the diner along with my phone"

She's Henry's twin sister. If I didn't want to talk to him. She knew before Henry did about Beau. He found out two days later when I accidently lifted my shirt.

"Your panic attacks are back you said"

"Yes"

"At least you randomly fond me today"

"Lea what is this place"

"It's a piercing shop" she says "Want one or a few" she smiles at me.

"Well I guess I might as well considering I was lead here by something" I laughed

"What will you be getting" as she said that her phone rang. She looked and showed me the I.D.

"Answer it but I'm not here. He doesn't need to know where I am and he'll believe you"

"Henry I'm not really allowed to be on the phone right now what do you want" she barks.

"Have you seen Mia she's missing"

"Sounds like she doesn't want found then. What's that have to do with me though"

"I just thought she would be with you"

"Henry if she turns up I'll let you know. How long has she been missing"

"An hour"

"Only an hour. Henry I'm at work and a client just walked in. I gotta go" with that she hung up. She always had my back when I didn't want to be found. She hid me from Beau for two weeks.

"He doesn't know where you work does he?"

"Nope" she laughs.

"Give me both of these and a nose ring" I say taking my shirt off.

"Go into that chair there. People won't be able to see you" she says grabbing the things she needs.

I head over to the chair and take my bra off. I realized I needed this pain. She came over and smiled. I realized she's going to enjoy this good thing no one else is the shop

"I'm ready" I say.

She started with the n*****s. There's a reason she's good at what she does.

"Breath in and a breathe out" I do as told. And with that one was done. The bar was already put in.

"That wasn't that bad. I'm ready for the next"

"Ready. Just like before" I do as before and it's done.

"Wow" I say starring at myself.

"I'll just say I love it" then she saw it" Did you do this for yourself"

"Yes I needed away from them. I wanted something different for myself" she knew I was being serious.

"Next one" she says with everything laid out and ready.

I sat back down.

"Ready" as fast as the other two were so was this one.

"I'm glad you did this for yourself today"

"Me too. How much"

"On the house. It's my shop"

"Really"

"Yes. Make sure you clean those" she has handing me the supplies.

"Thanks" that's when we heard them all and I felt the pull of Malik.

"Stay here and put your clothes back on. This chair is the most private I own in the shop. Let me get my staff from break real quick." she says taking off to the back and comes back with two people.

"Lea what do we do"

"I'll stay here with her and if someone comes in greet them as usual. My name isn't on the shop so. Make sure if they ask you about her you haven't seen her"

"Yes boss lady"

They walked to the front of the shop and they all walked in. My heart dropped and I felt the pull get stronger. I wonder if he feels it too.

Chapter 21

Horus

We walked into a shop and she isn't here. It's been almost two hours since she took off. I feel like she's in here but I can't see her.

"Hey have you seen our friend" Mira asked pulling out her phone to show a picture.

"I'm sorry we've been here all day and no one like has come through.

My heart skipped a beat. How could she just disappear like that. I'm beginning to worry.

"Malik let's go. We'll keep looking for her" Henry says and I don't want to leave. I feel like I'm being pulled towards her. I was the one that walked in here. She has to be in here somewhere.

"Ok let's go" I say.

I'm being filled with dread.

"Malik she'll show up. She used to do this all the time"

"What"

"When her panic attacks got bad she would disappear for some time" he said.

"She wants to be alone right now" Mira added

"Let's go back the apartment. She'll eventually show up.

We all walked back to the apartment and I felt like I just missed her. The pull kept making wanting to go back to the shop. Damn it all to the underworld.

Mia

"Thanks you didn't have to do that"

"I set things like this place with my staff for you a long time ago incase Beau came looking"

"You guys really don't mind" I asked.

"No not at all. She told us everything that happened"

"Thanks but I should get back. Malik is a good guy Lea. He's just been finding one thing out after the other"

"Give me your phone" I hand her my phone and puts her number in. She hands me back my phone.

"Lea thanks for the breather today"

"Remember our safe word"

"Yes" I say.

"Remember to also keep those clean"

"I will. Love you Lea" I say.

"Come if you need me"

"I will.

With that I left her shop and felt better. I walked to the apartment building

I heard the elevator ding and I felt her pulling towards me. With that I knew she was safe. She walked in and I was happy. I got up from the couch and hugged her. She moaned against my chest. That's new.

"Baby" I say breathing in her scent.

"I'm alright love I promise" she says pulling away from me.

"What's this" I say pointing at her nose.

"Mia you didn't"

"Then I didn't she says smiling

"See Lea knew where you were"

"Why'd she lie"

"For me" she said.

"Henry did you know about this"

"No Mia has a network of different people to help protect her. I just now found out my own twin is helping to"

"Twin" I questioned.

"She was the reason Mia made it to the hospital"

"I see"

"Can we have the rest of the day alone please guys. I'm safe now" she looked like she wanted to show something.

"Ok we're just a call away" Mira says hugging her and she flinched a little bit.

"Will do now go and do what you two need to" She winked.

They left and the apartment fell quiet.

"Baby what is it"

She tugged at my shirt. And I took it off. She followed and took hers off. I couldn't wait and took he bra off. There starring me in the face was her breast.

Chapter 22

Mia

I fell against his chest and my n*****s hit his chest. I let out a soft moan. Damn it all to hell these things are sensitive. He played with my hair and rubbed my back.

"Baby that was more then usual"

He chuckled and I could hear it in his chest. It made me feel at peace. I went to sleep right there. When I woke up I was in the bedroom and the smell of food wafting through the air. He's cooking food. Wait when did he learn to cook. I got up and put on one of shirts. I put on a pair of under wear. I walked out and there were candles lit in the middle of the table. Two plates set up with very delicious looking food. Two wine glasses filled with the bottle left out and another one set aside. I smiled and knew I was loved.

"Baby you're awake" He says looking good.

He had on a tight fitted shirt and his boxers

"What's all of this" I ask

"Date night" he says smiling.

"When did you learn to cook"

"I was watching some cooking show" he blushed.

"While I was asleep"

"Yes"

"How long have you wanted to this for me"

"For awhile"

I smiled and sat down. All my favorite foods. My heart skipped a beat. I never realized that one man could go out of his way to make someone they love feel like this. Could he be the one that I marry? Could he be? I almost forgot he was there till he kissed my forehead.

"Everything ok" he asked.

"Yea everything is good" I say taking a bite of food.

Oh my god this is so good. How the hell did he get so much flavor into the food. It all looks amazing. He made enough for both of us and then some.

"Baby" he says.

"Yes Love" I smile.

"I love you"

"I love you too"

We ate our food. Drank the wine till it was all gone. I walked over to the couch and realized there was blood on the carpet in front of the couch. Add that to the list of things I need to replace. When she finally gets home everything will be different. Just another month and a half. Then my sweet girl will be here again. I've missed her so.

"Love we need a carpet here"

"Huh" he comes over and see the blood.

"Wanna go shopping tomorrow"

"Always baby"

I loved that about him. Whenever I needed anything new he would always take me shopping. He has been just the most amazing person. We've been together for almost 7 months now. Everyone likes him.

"Do you think you would get something done if I asked you to" god having something like hit up on my spot. I blushed and he noticed.

"What is it"

"A piercing" I say blushing even worse then before.

"Should I be worried"

"Nope" I giggle.

He looked concerned that I'm going crazy. My phone rang and I answered.

"Mia"

"Mom"

"Everything fine over there" then she noticed my nose piercing.

"Yes why"

"Mia what the hell is that"

"What"

"Mia Aleera what made you get that"

"It happened the day after Beau got arrested"

"You mean you shut down and disappeared"

"Yes"

"Holy s**t you're going to give that poor a heart attack if you do that"

"Mom we're fine"

"Good. Now give the phone to him"

"Here" I say handing him my phone.

He walks away to the bathroom and shuts the door.
