Horus

One thing I learned about this version she values someone who will take care of her even if she seems she doesn't want it. She's been on her own for so long that she didn't realize she wanted someone. She has been amazing. I've been living her and her daughter for 3 months now. I've been going out with her shopping when she needs it. Gods know she needs it. Our tattoos are healed up. She likes the fact that she has something that's hers and for me. The routine is always the same. Until June came. Her daughter was out of school. And now her mother takes her daughter for the summer.

"Mia who's this" she ask

"Mom" she jumps up off the couch.

Her mom has a key apparently. We were all sitting on the couch when she walked in. Good thing we weren't in the middle of something. To think about it I'm waiting till I here her full name.

"Mia Aleera Ravens when were you going to tell me about this"

And there is was her full name. A beautiful full name for such an amazing woman.

"Mom last time I checked I'm an adult"

"Mia I am your mother. I want to be happy you found someone as long as he treats you right this time"

Her mother knew everything. She seems worried. But then she noticed her rose tattoo. I saw Mia's face.

"Gram gram" her daughter got up from her nap and off the couch.

"Hello sweet girl are you ready for the summer with me"

"Yes" she starts bouncing up and down excitedly

"Mia can I talk to you alone for 5 minutes" she looked defeated knowing her mother wasn't going to give up.

"Yes" she sighs and gets up to go into the kitchen.

If she was here when Mia beat the s**t out of that girl and broke her jaw she would of been very happy.

They came back in from the kitchen smiling. She seemed more at peace with the fact her mom is understanding. I bet her mom wanted her to learn to defend herself. She seems like the type of woman.

"You mister better treat her right"

"Don't worry she's safe with me" and Mia blushed

"Mia don't lose this one please" and Mia turned red

"Mama can we eat before I go" that cut the air through everything happening

"Out for lunch, out for lunch" it's like that little girl knew she had us wrapped around her tiny finger.

"Favorite place" and Mia sighed

"Again we ate there for four days this week"

"Favorite place" Mia looked defeated again.

That little girl certainly has her attitude. The poor guy who falls in love with her will know he messed up when she leaves.

"Ok let us get dressed then. Mom could you get her ready to go" she says

"Yes, come here sweetie" she says picking her right up.

Chapter 12

Mia

"Malik I'm so sorry I forgot she was coming today" I say looking embarrassed.

"Mia it's ok I promise" he says cupping my chin.

"I think we should get dressed because then my mom will think we're in here doing something" god I sounded like a teenager.

I feel him come up behind me and kiss my neck. I let out a soft moan because it's been a little while since we did anything.

"Mia can't we just real quick" he asked.

"As much as I want to we can't. Please dressed and face the other way" I say not needing to look at him or else something would happen.

I quickly got dressed and so did he. I had on a tank top with bra built in. Man these things look huge. I had shorts on that revealed part of my ass cheeks. Malik had on a fitted shirt and jeans. Damn that fitted shirt makes me want to rip it right off and lick his abs. Mia focus.

"Mama Mama" she calls out.

"Look at you. I almost forgot that god gave you something to work with" my mom laughs and I blush.

Her favorite place had a lot of hiding places for adults too. We're sitting there eating when someone my mom knows comes up to us.

"Lena" my mom tried not to spit out her drink.

"Lena please don't you have someone to be looking after too" that's when hit her. She did. Kaity's sister had twins around the time I was pregnant. She took off calling their names.

"What. She has grand kids. I thought Kaity couldn't"

"Kaity can't but her younger sister can"

"The ugly old lady is still over there on the floor and Gram Gram is talking to a girl"

We get our stuff and head over. It was like night and day. Kaity's sister didn't look embarrassed at all but happy.

"Mia there you are" her mom says giving her hug.

"Mira" she says giving her a hug next.

Those two really are different. She seems to be more of a friend to Mia than Kaity.

"Well Kaity is moving back in with mom. That's what she gets for messing up and lying"

"I heard you broke her jaw and teeth in one hit" Mira gushed over the fact.

"Yes" Mia looked like she had a fan girl

"Damn. I wish I there to see it" then she notices me

"Mira what's wrong"

Mia laughed. What did she mean by that.

"Mira this is my new boyfriend" she says

What is it with these women. Don't they have a nice looking guy for themselves.

"Mira" she playfully smacks her arm.

"Hey we should get going" her mom says

"Ok we'll catch up sometime then. Wait give me your number"

Mia hands her phone and she hands Mia hers. They exchange numbers. They hug each other good bye

"We'll that was adventure for all of us" her mom says

"Mom thank you" she hugs her tightly.

"Listen sweetie what ever happens gram has my number ok" she says giving her daughter a big hug.

"Mama I love you"

"I love you to sweetie" and with that her mom took her to the car.

"Be safe and call me please when you get back home"

"Mia" her mom says touching her face.

"Please you know how I am with her"

"Mia darling your sweet cargo will be fine with me" she says as they hug each other good bye.

We watch as they drive off. Mia looked sad to see her go.

"Mia are you ok" I asked

"Yea. Just a little hard watching her leave. This is the first time in four years she's been away from me for then just a few hours at a time"

I held her close as she felt like for the first her daughter was out of reach.
