"Well..." Just then he got up to leave, cutting Freya short. She quickly followed after him. He turned around and frowned at her. This would have been a turn off for anyone, but not Freya, it just made her more determined. She had already made up her mind that he was what she was looking for and would never ever let go.
"Where exactly are you going?" He quickened his steps in the pursuit of loosing her as he climbed down the steep steps. "Could you atleast wait for me?" He sped up to the bottom of the cliff to escape her. Then suddenly, he heard laughter, he turned round with a quizzical look.
"Ohh...I-I'm sorry ... it's just, I thought you were so very cute. I couldn't help myself" she said gasping for air. The sun beamed behind her and her smile seemed to glow. He looked at her and thought too bright. But he had to admit...her smile was pretty. He slowly walked towards her and said "I don't know my way around."
"Freya's eyes lit up with excitement, as she almost pounced on him. "That means your a tourist! I could definitely show you around. And this is perfect timing." She took him by his hand and guided him towards the town, her eyes still aglow with excitement. "Perfect timing?" he said in a low voice. She turned to him looking almost baffled. "The cherry blossoms ofcousre!" They bloom like crazy around this time of year and the petals get everywhere. Did you not see them?" Having a vague look, he says "I just got here.""That's peculiar.... I shall be your guide then."
As they came closer to town, there was a small blue kissed automobile parked against a rocky wall. Freya ran ahead... inserting the keys from her pocket she started the engine and got on. She beckoned him to get on aswell. "Hold on tight...first stop Toreto Market!"
Toreto Market was a famous market at the South side of Shirahama. It was popular for it's sea food, fresh produce as well as the vibrant colours of it's fruit and veggies. The air was filled with the smell of grilled fish and chatter of vendors and sellers. You could see Freya carrying the mystery boy along showing him all her favourite stalls.
"This is the best place in the whole of Toreto to buyyy fishhh... it's so good, you should come buy some time. Oh, and over there is the fruit and veggie section. I always come by to help out and distribute to people who need it. This market is the best!" He wasn't sure if it was because of Freya's enthusiasm, but he found himself getting swept in the moment. Seeing so many people...just being together. They seemed 'happy'. That had always been a strange emotion. Freya noticed how silent he was and thought he may not be having much fine. Her heart sank a little.
"Come along" she said quietly to him. She took him to a calmer part of the market so he could rest, offering him some grilled squid, he seemed hesitant. "It's tasty..." she said with a reassuring smile. He accepted it reluctantly. She was tempted to ask, "Are...you not having much fun?" She waited a few seconds before hearing...
"It's fun." Freya smiled to herself, she didn't know why but she had decided to protect this boy at all costs. She held his hand...and simply asked..."Ready?"
