Asher parked front of the house this time. This was the first time he had actually come to where I lived. I pressed the bell hoping Garrett wasn't home. Thankfully, I received no answer. I used my key to open the door and I walked in with Asher following closely behind me. He locked the door behind him.
‘You can make yourself at home if you want.’ I said to him handling him a bottle of water.
‘I don’t want to. Let’s go to where your things are. I know all these came impromptu but we need to be fast. Remember my dinner with my mother.’ He said walking past me to the hallway.
