Still snuggled together, Lucas and Harper awoke to the unmistakable sound of mumbling and giggling. Harper rolled his eyes. “Unless giant sentient mice moved into my house, we have company. Maybe if we ignore them, they’ll go away.” Before Lucas could reply, someone knocked on the door “One sec…” Harper called. Only to hear more giggling and the squeak of a century old door opening. Joe and Meg stood in the doorway goggling at them, still giggling like little kids.
