Before Lucas could comprehend what was happening, Harper ran from him. All he knew was that he needed to fix this. Stepping out of the shadow of the barn, Lucas couldn’t help but yell. “Harper! Stop!” Harper stopped and turned around, along with about forty wedding guests wanting to see the show. “What the hell? You didn’t misunderstand anything. I love you. I don’t want you to leave.” Harper’s brain didn’t know how to respond, but his body did. “I wasn’t planning on it. I love you, too.” He ran to Lucas and jumped into his arms wrapping his legs around Lucas’s waist. Lucas kissed him hard and Harper slid down to stand on his own feet, but the kiss didn’t stop.
