Chapter 17 By ten o’clock in the morning, Harper was busy helping Meg and Joe load furniture and boxes into the old farm pickup so it could be moved to their condo in Raleigh. Lucas was at the hardware store buying more of the pale cadet blue he’d used to paint his bedroom in the guesthouse. He said it matched Harper’s eyes and waking up to that color surrounding him every morning made him happy, so Harper just went with it.
