I ran outside, grabbing Richard's hands before he could get into his car.
"What's going on? Did I say or do something wrong?" I asked, my voice laced with concern.
Richard shook his head, his eyes blazing with anger.
"It's not about you," he growled.
I frowned, confusion etched on my face. "Then what is it?" I pressed.
Richard groaned, rubbing his hair backward in frustration.
"It's just... knowing that Ross did that to you... that you let him touch you..." His voice trailed off, his anger simmering just below the surface.
