She looked past the side of my head at something in my back. I turned to follow her line of sight but I was faced with nothing tangible that I can say has gotten her attention. I feel so sad that she space out but was never really willing to talk to me about it. "Are you okay?" I asked as I reached out to grab her. "Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm fine."
