First Day at Office

Thank god! Because of Peter I got that job. Yesterday I got one Mail from that organisation and today it's my first day at the office.

As you all know generally I wakes up at 10.30 am but I woke up today at around 7 am. I am so much excited and nervous that I couldn't sleep much today. I came down stairs to find mom. As usual she was in the kitchen making breakfast for all of us. "Morning Mom." I said and hugged her from behind. "Oh My God Lisa! How come you woke up so early today?" She asked me. "Aah mom, I couldn't sleep much. After all it's my first day at my dream job." I said while taking a bite of hot fried bacon with cheese. "Careful Lisa it's hot. You'll burn you mouth." Mom said worried. "No mom, I fine. I'll quickly take shower and come back for breakfast. I have to reach at the office by 10." I said and gave her a kiss on cheek.

I came inside my room and open my cupboard. What should I wear today? I want to look good as much as I can. I took out one formal grey pant with withe shirt and grey blazer. Yes I guess this will do. I took shower and wore that cloths and black wedges with that. I tied my hair into loose fishtail braid. I put some make up on my face with thick black eyeliner and light pink blush. I applied light pink lipstick on my lips and spray 2-3 perfumes on all over my body. I love perfumes a lot. I have my own collection of perfumes. Nobody is allowed to use them. I soon as I got ready I heard a message pop up tone. It was from Peter, "Hey morning Li. I hope you are ready, I'll be there at 9:30. I'll pick you up so don't be late." I read his message. I took my hand bag and came downstairs to have my breakfast. When I came down I saw mom and my both brothers were already there and having their breakfast. "Morning Guys." I said while sitting on the chair. "Good morning Lisa." Johnson said. "Oh, It's your first day at office today right?" Mac asked. "Can't you guess it from her clothes" Johnson laughed. "Haha very funny." I rolled my eyes. I took one sandwich and some bacon with cheese with orange juice. "Stop teasing her guys. Mac drop her today. It's her first day" Mom told Mac. "No, Peter is coming to pick me up. I got his message just now." I told them. "Ohhoo! Peter have started new taxi services ha? I wasn't aware about this." Johnson teased me. "No!" I rolled my eyes. "Mom I told you na. Peter is working in the same office so he told me that he is gonna come to pick me up. Nothing else." I said. "Alright then. All the best for your first day." Mom said. I heard car's horn so I quickly checked the time. "Oh it's 9:35 already. It must be Peter. I have to go or else I'll be late." I said. "Tell him to come inside and have some food with us." Mac said. "No Mac we are already running late. I'll ask him some day later." I told him. My phone rang, Peter was calling me I picked up his call "Hey Li where are you? I am out side of your house. Come quickly we are already late." He said. "Yes yes I am coming" I said in hurry and quickly disconnected the phone. "I need to go guys. He is waiting outside and I don't want be late on the first day. See you all in the evening. Love u" I said and give them all a quick hug. When I came out of the house I saw Peter with his car. He was wearing formal blue shirt with black pant and black shoes. He checked out me for a second and said "You are looking gorgeous Lisa." I blushed and said thanks. He opened the car's door for me. I sat inside and he closed the door.

"I'll be there Li, Don't take this much tension." He said while driving. I was biting my nails. "You know me so well." I said. He laugh. "Jack is not that bad. He'll surely like you don't worry." He said while patting my back. "Yea but I am still nervous as you know my first impressions wasn't that good on him." I said. "Yea I know that. But trust me it's not gonna be that tough. And plus I'll be a call away so at any point of time you can call me." He said. I nodded. We reached office when Peter said "Wait near the reception I'll park the car and meet you there." I said okay and got down the car. I went inside and stood near the reception. "Hey Ms. Lisa good morning, So you finally got the job!" A women said. When I turned around I saw Rose. "Yes! Morning Rose, But now I am a bit nervous again." "Everything will be fine dear. Jack Sir haven't come yet. Are you waiting for someone?" Rose asked. "Yes actually Peter is coming. He's going to take me to the Jack Sir's cabin" I said. "Alright. you can sit on the couch." She said while pointing towards the couch near the reception. I smiled at her and sat on the couch. "Ms. Rose, tell Jack to come and meet me at my cabin once he reach office. I tried calling him but he is not answering the call." A man who seems to be somewhere in his 60's said. He was having black hair, Fair wrinkled skin and brown eyes. His height was around 5'11 inch and he was wearing black suit with black shoes. Who is this man? He is giving order to Jack sir. He must be someone really close to Jack Sir. He turned around and saw me. He kept looking at me for 2 seconds with shock expression. I got little awkward and looked down. He came to me and asked, "If I am not wrong you are..." Peters came from behind and completed his sentence while I got up from the couch, "She is Lisa, Uncle Harry. She's my best friend and now Jack appointed her as his secretory." He explained. " So my doubt was right. She is Lisa Peterson, Daughter of Mark and Malisa." He said with same shocking expression. "How do you know about my parents?" I asked Harry. "You exactly look like your dad, Same eyes same attitude." He paused for a second and continued, "Your dad was my good friend". "It's her first day at the office uncle Harry. And Lisa he is Mr. Harry Wattson, Jack Sir's father." Peter said. "Oh! hi Mr. Harry." I said and shaked hand with him. "Nice to meet you Lisa." He said and walked in his cabin. That means my father was good friend of jack's father. What a nice coincident. "Lets go Li, Jack's cabin is this way." Peter said. We took the elevator. Jack's cabin was on 8th floor. "Don't be nervous. Be confident. Jack likes confident people and if you need any help just call me. Okay?" Peter said. "Ofcourse Peter." I said. We reached on the 8th floor and Peter took me to one large glass cabin. "This is Jack's cabin." He said and tap his ID card on the machine near the door of cabin. I looked at him confused. He smiled and said "Jack doesn't like anybody entering in his cabin, Because of some confidentiality and he is a bit secretive person. Only some people are allowed to enter in his cabin, I am one of them and now you are going to be one of us." That cabin was so huge. There were one big rectangular shape table with 2 normal chairs at one side and one master chair at other. There was Jack's laptop on that table with some files and folders. One landline besides that. There was one small side table near that table with one jar and 2 glasses. There was one huge side lamp on the other side of the table. On one wall there was one big picture of Jack with his mom and dad, And besides that another painting of 3 big beautiful wolfs. There was large wooden book shelf on one entire wall. And flat 10 inch TV on other wall.There was one large sofa on the corner with one side table. "Go sit there. Jack will be here in 5 mins" he said while pointing towards the sofa. "I have to leave now. I just got a message from Harry sir that he wants to meet me. Cafeteria is at 3rd floor so meet me there at lunch time." He said and hugged me. "Okay. I'll be there." I said. He left closing the door behind him. I walked to the wolfs Painting. It was beautifully painted. I guess Jack likes wolfs a lot. I saw one painting of wolf on the wall of interview room and there is one more painting in this cabin as well. Suddenly I heard a sound of door and turned to look behind. It was Jack with his two body guards he signed them to stay there outside of the cabin. He was wearing grey formal pant with black shirt and he was holding his blazer in his hand. He took out his glasses and kept them on the table and looked at me. "So you came early?" He asked me. "Yea. Peter took me to your cabin." I said. I was keep looking at his blue eyes. "I told him to take you to the cabin." He said. I nodded and kept looking in his eyes. "You can sit on that sofa Ms.Lisa." he said. There is one different kind of attachment I feel when I look at him. I donno what it is and I can't even explain that in words. I was in all this thoughts when he came near me waved his hand near my face and said, "Ms. Lisa I am talking to you. Go sit on that sofa." He said narrowing his eyes. "Yes, yes Jack sir." I said bit embarrassingly. I sat there for nearly 5-10 minutes and Jack got busy with his phone. He hang up the call and came to me with a file. "Take this list and call them all. Schedule my meeting with them for this Month. There should be maximum 3 meetings a day." He said. "Okay." I said and took that file from his hand. "Here is your new phone. This is your official phone so from now on you have to use only this phone for official work. My number and everyone's official number is already there in this phone." He said and gave me that phone. It was I phone X I got so excited while looking at that phone. "Don't get so excited start working. You have to finish this work today before going to home." He said. How rude he is. "Alright." I said in a low voice. "There one laptop and your Id card on that side table it's your laptop from now on so u can use that." He pointed towards the side table near the sofa. He went and sat on his master chair and got busy again with calls. I took my laptop from side table and it was Mac book. I must say there are some benefits to work under billionaire people. I know he is bit rude but he is so handsome and more over super rich and intelligent. So I can tolerate this much of rudeness. I opened the file and saw the list. There were 200 names of people with their contact details on that sheet. This is too much, How can I make 200 calls in a day ? No Lisa, this is your first day and you have to prove yourself. So stop complaining and start working. I encouraged myself and started working.

Its been 4 hours since I am making the calls. I have called almost 100 people till now and half of my work is done. It's 2.30pm and I am starving like hell. I stretched my hands and yawn. When I saw Jack is looking at me I quickly took my hands down and closed my mouth. He took his one eyebrow up and asked "How many calls you made?" "Hundred." I said proudly. "Don't be so proud. You have completed just half of your work." He said rudely and started looking back in his laptop. How rude he is. I have complied my half work in just 4 hours and still he is not happy with that. I am starving like hell and he is not even bothered to ask me about lunch. I want to have food and I even got message from Peter that he is waiting for me at the cafeteria. How do I ask Jack that I want to go out at the cafeteria for lunch. "Ms. Lisa, You must be hungry you can go and have your lunch." He said while still looking at his laptop. Yes, finally. "You are not that bad Mr. Angry Bird." I muttered. "You said something?" He asked. "No no! I am going. When will you have your lunch ?" I asked him. "You don't have to worry about that. You go and have your lunch. It's 2.35 now I want you back here at sharp 3.05." He said. "Okay I'll be back on time" I said. And closed the door behind me and started walking towards the cafeteria. 'Angry Bird' I found perfect name for you Mr. Jack 'Angry Bird'.

I soon as I reached the cafeteria I saw Peter was waiting outside for me. "Peter!" I waved at him. "Hey there you are. I have one surprise for you. Close your eyes quickly." He said and put his hands on my eyes. "Whoh oh! Wait Peter. Why? What happened." I asked him confusingly. "Don't try to open you eyes Lisa." He said and took me somewhere inside the cafeteria. I slowly walked with him putting my both hands in front. We stopped at one place and he took his hands away from my eyes. "Now open your eyes." He said. I slowly opened my eyes. There was one table in front of me nicely decorated with black and purple balloons and ribbons. On the center of that table there was one big chocolate cake. "What is this?" I jumped happily up and down and asked him. "Haha it seems you like my little surprise a lot. This is your small pre birthday celebration." He said with a big bright smile. Oh! Yes tomorrow is my birthday. I completely forgot about that. I am going to be 20 years old tomorrow. "Thanks a lot Peter." I said and hugged him. "Let's cut the cake now. I know you are hungry so I already ordered your favourite chicken pizza." He said "You are the best." I said and cut the cake. We sat on the table and started having cake and pizza when Peter asked me, "So how was your day till now?" "Its going great. Angry bird gave me list of 200 people to call and I have to schedule his meeting with them for the entire month." I said while having a bite of pizza. "Angry bird?" He asked me confusingly. "Oh! That's the new name of Mr. Jack." I told him. He started laughing. "Nice name." He said. "Are you going to call Angry bird on your birthday party tomorrow?" He asked me. "Do you think he will come if I call him ?" I asked. "Obviously he will. He is not that arrogant trust me. He is really a nice man. Very down to earth." He said. "Okay let's see." I said while taking the last bite of my pizza. "Quickly finish your food Peter. It's already 3:00 and I have to be at the cabin before 3:05." I said. "Looks like Angry bird gave you the deadline." He smiled while taking his last bite of cake. "Yea." I rolled my eyes. We got up and Peter dropped me to the lift and he went in his cabin.

I reached Jacks cabin when I saw his two body guards were standing at the door. I hold my Id card near the machine and door opened. I went inside and saw that Jack is still working on his laptop. Did he had his lunch? May be he did. I was talking to myself when Jack saw me and said, "Good Ms. Lisa you are on time. Now get back to your work." I rolled my eyes and started working. Angry bird I muttered.

I was on call when Jack come to me and sat beside me. He started looking into my work which I did in laptop. He waited for me till I hang up the call and said, " You can go home now. It's already late. I will drop you." I checked my watch and it was 10 pm. "s**t! I couldn't realise that it's too late." I said. "Don't worry Ms. Lisa I'll drop you." He said. He was sitting close to me I suddenly realised that and my heart started beating too fast. I checked my phone I saw there were 10 messages from Peter asking me what am I doing ? Am I fine ? How much time I am going to take more to finish my work? And he is waiting at the parking for me. "No. I am fine Jack sir. I'll manage." I said. "Stop arguing Ms. Lisa, I am not asking you I am telling you that I am going to drop you. It's already late and I can not allow you to go alone." He said making serious face. "Peter is waiting for me at the parking. I won't go alone he'll drop me." I said. As soon as I said that his expressions got changed. His eyes turned little darker I felt that. He got little angry and said, "Oh! Peter is waiting for you. Great." He suddenly got up and started going out. Is he jealous? But why will he get jealous? I guess I am thinking too much. "Jack sir, Tomorrow is my birthday and it'll be my pleasure if you come for the party." I invited him. He didn't respond on that and went out of the cabin without acknowledging me. He won't come I got his answer. After all he is a billionaire business tycoon why will he come for a birthday party of his secretary.

I quickly finish off my remaining work and Reached home with Peter. 

I am still thinking about Angry bird. Was he jealous? Will he come for the Party?
