Chapter Thirty Six
Joe’s point of view
I was sat in the hospital, Jenna was fast asleep, but she was hooked up to some drips, turns out that she had some sort of infection, whether it was from her cuts or something else. I don’t know, she wouldn’t tell me and the nurse wouldn’t either. I don’t get what the big secret was, but, I wasn’t going to push it.
I sat back in the chair and closed my eyes, I felt like I hadn’t slept for a week, I was shattered, all this s**t was so emotionally and physically draining. As soon as my eyes closed, I drifted off to sleep.
Some noise woke me up. I blinked a few times and looked around the room, As my eyes adjusted to the light, I saw a few moving figures. Panicked, I shot up but instantly relaxed when I saw it was just my friends.
