IZABELLA I let out a soft sigh as I settled deeper into the massage chair. Warm steam floated around us, making everything feel calmer, softer. Even Violet looked relaxed, her legs crossed and her head tilted back as the nail tech worked on her toes. “I forgot how nice this feels,” I mumbled, closing my eyes for a moment. Violet hummed in agreement. “It’s been forever since we did this.” I opened one eye to look at her. “We never really had time.” Or the money.
