Cabin In the Woods

660 Words
Shawn turns to Cassie and says, “Your ropes will be taken off and then you will be taken to get your things. After that you will be taken to the cabin in the woods.” Cassie nodded as tears fell down her face. “Thank you for showing me mercy, Alpha.” Shawn nodded as he turned to Sara. “It has been a long day. Let’s go to our room so I can hold you.” Sara nods and says, “Can I have a moment with my sister before she leaves and then I’ll join you?” Shawn nods as he tells the pack to go back to what they were doing before.  Sara walks over to her sister and has the guards take her ropes off. “You’re welcome for convincing him to spare you.” Sara helps her up and says, “I don’t think I'll ever forgive what you’ve done but I’m hoping that one day I can.” Cassie nods as she hugs her sister. “Thank you. I hope you’ll forgive me as well. I love you, Sara.” Sara pulls away as tears begin to fall down her face. She nods at the guards to what they were told to do and walks away. Cassie is led to her room to gather her things and notices Shawn in the hall. She notices his eyes are a dark blue. Now that things have been dealt with and he’s calmed down she begins to see the gorgeous man she saw 6 months ago. She begins to day dream of him choosing her over her sister and taking her into his arms to kiss her. Shawn can feel someone staring at him and turns to see Cassie staring at him. He glares at her as he turns his back on her and walks to his room. As he opens the door Cassie is able to see her sister sitting in his bed waiting for him. She growls deep in her throat out of jealousy. She vows to one day have the Alpha to herself. Once her things are all packed she and the guards walk to the cabin in the woods. No one said a word as they traveled so far that the sound of the pack slowly began to fade behind her. The quiet was so lonely that she already felt alone. She thought that being exiled would be better because she could be around other people. The cabin was tucked away from the path hidden in the trees. If she didn’t know it was there she’d simply have walked past it. Cassie sighed as she turned the handle and walked inside. It was dark and dusty. She could tell no one had been there in a very long time. This was her life now. She sat her things down and turned to get the rest just to notice the guards had set it down and left her alone. They hadn’t said a word to her. Cassie started cleaning her new home when she heard someone walking towards the cabin. She stuck her head out to see Martha walking towards her. She was carrying a basket. It had soap, shampoo, a brush and other girly items she would need. “Sara asked me to bring this to you. She wasn’t sure if you’d need it or not.” Cassie took the basket and was about to thank her when Martha turned to leave. The cabin was finally clean after what seemed like forever. She lit some candles and started a fire. The light chased away the cold and the darkness. It didn’t help her loneliness but it would help to calm her. She sat in the chair and wished Shawn was there to comfort her.
