Nathan’s POV
I had tried to explain myself to her that I wasn’t involved or even knew about Lucian’s plan but she was head over heels convinced I was.
I wouldn’t blame her, I was a coward and watched my own mate slip through my fingers. Not only did I lose her, she now believes I traded her to Lucian.
I was about to explain myself when I heard a loud bang from her end that sent shivers down my spine.
a thud sound followed, my stomach clenched them came his voice.
“ Where’s is the Goddamned Phone ,” is what I could make even though the voices weren’t too clear, but one thing for sure was that voice had belonged to Lucian.
I could sense and hear the fear in her voice as he questioned her , and all I could do was listen and just stand at the other side of the phone.
