Mia was unsure of the words that she had just heard.
“So you admit you’re guilty? To all of the allegations made by Queen Lucinda?” Mia asked to clarify.
“Yes little girl”. Maverick smirked and Derek covered his mouth to hold in laughter - causing a warning growl from King Jake. “I said I’m guilty. The Blacks had it coming. They were trying to create an uprise and take back their pack and I couldn’t let that happen. Treason pays a price” he shrugged.
“And what should the price be for your treason?” Mia stood and crossed her arms. “I’m looking around the room and am seeing 7 other alphas who’s packs you planned to take over - despite our treaty” she tapped the file folder holding the document in front of her. “So what do you suppose we do?”
