They had sat down for dinner and just started to eat when Elena and Lukas returned. They had puffy eyes as if they both had been crying but were smiling and talking as they came into the yard.
“I hope you didn’t start without me!” Lukas exclaimed, taking his seat beside Mia. Mia smiled at handed him a beer.
“Want one Elena?” She offered her a beer.
Elena nodded, taking the chair between Lukas and Noah and accepting the beer from Mia. Elena smiled at Noah and rested her hand on his. Noah looked like he could explode in excitement before quickly regaining his composure.
