Daisy's gaze locked on Amanda. The Luna stood near the front, frozen, her fingers still curled around the handle of her dropped fan. Her face had gone completely white. “W-what are you saying?" Amanda stammered. “I don't know these men." The scarred man snorted. “That's funny," he said. “You knew us well enough when you handed over the money." Gasps rippled through the hall. Alpha Green rounded on him. “You dare accuse my Luna in my own house?" he shouted. “You think I'll believe the words of gutter trash over—" Aaron lifted a hand slightly. Alpha Green fell silent. “We didn't grab some random men from a bar, Alpha Green," Aaron said calmly. “We tracked them. We listened. We recorded." He nodded to one of his warriors.
