VWE FIRST SHOWED UP at a Chinese school, where they were teaching English. About 50 kids packed into a close-fit, spartan room. It was all repeat-after-me learning. We were at one front corner of the room, invisible to all of them.
Most of the kids were bright and interested. Two weren't.
Sal gave an overview. "One's an over-achiever, incredibly gifted, and bored. The other is dull and can't keep up. The rest are somewhere in between."
