Chapter 2 (A nightmare)

Fiona POV

"Have a good day Ms. Nelson" The lady said and cut the call

I entered the bathroom to brush my teeth because I just took a smoothie.

I came out from the bathroom, I want to off the light but when my phone starts ringing, I quickly jumped onto the bed to see the one calling me at that time.

I know the one calling me but , I want to be sure about that and she is the one.

"Omg, it's her" I said

"hey, Dan what's up " I ask her but got no answer from her

"Dan, I am so sorry , I know what I did isn..." I said but didn't finish my sentence when I hear her sobbing.

Immediately at that time everything stop flowing in my head and my body.

" Dan, what's wrong, what happened, why are you crying "I ask her all at a time

"Fio.... nnna , I... ca... ta....lk at.... the mome....nt, but.... I .....will send .....you an address....., please come right... away.. "She said before cutting the call.

"What wrong, why is my best friend, my only friend , why, why"I uttered to myself

"She didn't even call me by the name she always call me, han, she usually say"I uttered to my self

i quickly enter the dressing room and just look for a brown gown and black sandals, I carried my purse to keep my phone on it and rush to downstairs.

"My dear where are you going at this time, it's almost 9" Emma uttered

I turned and look at her and narrated what happened between me and Daniella,

"Yes, but I can't leave you, go by yourself, I have to follow you my dear" Emma suggested

"But I am in a hurry , and yet she didn't send the address"I said

" No but , just wait for me by the car , you can call her without her even sending the address via your phone, she can say it with by herself"Emma said

" Okay"I said and made my way to the parking lot.

"Hello , how have you been," I said to Mr Woodley

"I am fine my daughter, but where are we going, it's too late" Mr Woodley said

"yeah , but we are going with em, she went to wear something, we are going with her," I answered Mr Woodley

I am waiting for Emma by the car , a message just beeped onto my phone, I checked it and showered it to Mr Woodley, then I saw Emma coming towards us in her a hurry.

"So you want to go away without me" Emma said looking at me

She caught the edge of my ear and scroll it

I scream and ran away, she laughed and enter the car, I entered too , and we drove off to the hospital.

We arrived at the hospital

I am watching an anime, but I don't know we arrived at the hospital, Emma snatch away my phone, that is when I realize we arrived.

"I am sorry" I apologize to Emma so that she can give the phone to me, to call Daniella

She gave me the phone

I dialed Daniella number but it's switched off

"Em, She didn't pick up , but you can wait for me by the car , I will be right back immediately" I said and made my way towards the entrance of the hospital

The hospital is called the knight health care service,

I enter the hospital and look around to find where to find the reception,

I saw the reception and went there ..

I didn't even got to talk to the receptionist, I feel someone touched my shoulder,

I turned around to see who is it, that's when I found my Dan , my baby , swollen looking extremely sad , I hugged her immediately and I can feel tear making their ways in my shoulder,

I patted her back to stop her from crying, cause I can start crying too

She parted from the hug

And I realize her eyes have turned moist, her claw receded , her face has swollen up.

"Fiona.... " she sniffed

A tear stream the corner of my eyes too

I placed my hand on her shoulder, turning her to look at me.

She hugged me tightly

"Dan, let go to the restroom, so that you can wash your face" I said and pull her hand ,

we enter the restroom, I waited for her to wash her face and I did so too,

We came out of the restroom and we started walking towards the chairs

We sat down and she starts by saying

"Fiona , I can't take it, they said that my mom just have a month ahead of her" she said and she tears started screaming down her face

At that time , hot flow of tears came down running from my face,

"My next mom, after mine ,she like me like her daughter, she.. "I can't even finish what I am saying the tears started running heavily from my face

Qlinnnnnnn.

The sound of alarm work me up from this nightmare

before doing anything I called Daniella, and her phone is switched off , anyways it's normal, because Daniella doesn't wake up early

I jumped up from my bed, and yawned ,

"But what kind of nightmare is this , I can't believe it" I uttered to myself

I looked at the time it was just 6am in the morning in the morning.

"Thank goodness, I woke up early for my interview" I said and went straight to my bathroom.

I took almost 30mins getting my hair done, but my dark brown hair was now braided into a waterfall braid.

I took out the outfits especially bought for the interview.

I made my way to the kitchen.

I saw my food there, I ate everything up, don't want to get hungry during the interview, and I am a food addict, I like eating.

"Em, I am going to the interview, come and give me some blessings," I shouted so that she can come quickly

"I pray that you get choosen, my dear"she said and kissed my forehead

I kissed her cheeks and went out.

I entered the car, greeted the driver and told him the address

I am lost in my world of imagination that ,

Before I realized the car had pulled to a stop in front of a tall building.

"Here you are little miss -Knight corporation"Mr woodly said.

Mr woodly is our driver for more than years.

I stared at the building in total awe.

" Woah! this is a nice place but why, was I so surprised!? "

I have been to many places that are bigger and more beautiful than this.

Mr Woodley cleared his thought.

"Best of luck my dear" Mr Woodley said

"Oh! thank you,you are the best ,"I said and quickly got out of the car.

As I got closer to the building.

I saw that above the entrance a sign,

Well designed name that reads 'Knight corporation'.

I saw security guards in front of the building.

I walked past them and went straight to the front desk.

I saw a woman sat at the desk with Blonde hair, tied nicely and a lip gloss applied on to her beautiful lips.

She look at me when she noticed my presence.

"How may I help you?" She asked

"I'm looking for Mrs henry?" I asked

"And you are?" the lady asked questionly

"I got a call a week ago to have an interview today, seeking for a personal secretary

"Mrs Henry is on the 5th floor." She said.

"Thank you"I said and but before proceeding to the elevator the lady called me back.
