I get back to the house and Killian stops me as I'm about to head to my room. "Where have you been? I was worried sick." He tells me and I can see the fear in his eyes.
"I had to go to the office to leave instructions for Emma, Kate was supposed to tell you." I tell him, trying to ease his fear.
"She didn't, by the time I woke up, her, Lachlan and Will had left to go to their house to pack."
I place my hand on his chest. "I'm sorry for worrying you, I should have told you where I was going. But I'm not the girl I was four years ago Killian, I can take care of myself."
