The doctor comes in to check in on Elijah. "You're out of the woods for now, but you still have to get some rest and take it easy, your body has been through a lot. And even though you're a shifter, it's going to take you a while before you're back to full strength." The doctor tells Elijah and the look on his face says he doesn't like that news one bit.
"And how long is a while doc? I need to get out of this damn bed." He asks the doctor.
"There's no need to answer that doctor." Elena interrupts the doctor before he can say anything.
"Elena…" Elijah tries to talk to her but she doesn't listen.
"No Elijah, you don't get to walk over me on this one. You almost died, did you hear me because I don't think that it has actually sunk that you almost died. We almost lost you.
