I take Adriana back to her room. She keeps sobbing and I try my best to comfort her.
"Everything's going to be ok Adriana. I know the pain that you're feeling right now. But believe me when I tell you that it'll get better."
"How Lena? How do I come back from this? You saw the way he looked at me and the words he said. How could I have been so foolish as to fall for his act all these years."
"No Adriana, none of this is your fault. He fooled all of us. Now stop crying you're going to be fine." I reassure her.
"How do you know that Lena?" She asks me.
"Because I know first hand how it feels to be rejected by my mate." I tell her.
