Chapter 3: Sophia's Point of View

459 Words
Sophia: After our coffee shop run in, Ashton asked if I was getting hungry and offered to buy lunch. I admit, I was a little reluctant to respond, but something in my gut said "go for it" like it just felt like the right thing to do, so I accepted his offer. We went to Subway and got ourselves a six inch sandwich and a drink. I went with the chicken bacon ranch one with a cherry coke and Ashton got a meatball marinara with a dr. pepper. Then as he paid he told me to find a table and have a seat, he'll be there in a minute. As he stood there at the counter and I was able to get a good look at him. He was about 6ft just a few inches taller than I was, about 22 years old with brown hair and those cool, smokey grey eyes of his. He skin had been kissed by the sun, he had on a white short sleeve t shirt and a pair of dark blue jeans and he topped it off with a pair of black tennis shoes. I was surprised that I had never noticed him before with how stunning he was and I could only hope his personality would be as stunning as he. When we were wrapping up our lunch, an employee brought over a single banana split and a couple of bowls. "I didnt know if we would have been able to finish a whole one on our own so I got us one to split, I hope that's ok with you" he said. I couldn't help but chuckle and nod in agreement cuz I didnt think I could fit much more. So he divided up the ice cream and we enjoyed it together. It was a very pleasant date and we went on many, many more as the weeks went on. One day he took me to see a movie, Spiderman then dinner at Olive Garden and then he drove me back home to the apartment I still live in with my mom and dad. Each time he took me out, I saw a hunger in his eyes like he needed me. Almost like he needed me near him to live, like a climate bubble, or his own personal oxygen line or something. When we were done with our date that night he walked me to the door and we did the normal, I had a great time we should do this again thing but in the middle of me saying that he hungrily planted a kiss on my lips. It was so full of emotion, love, passion that I was amazed at how much could be felt through just a kiss.
