CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

He chuckled as he moved between her parted thighs and holding his body above her, he touched her opening with the tip of his hardness.  Leaning forward he crushed his mouth down onto hers it was so hard she had no choice but to part her lips.  The instant his tongue entered her mouth and touched her tongue he plunged himself deeply into her.  Megan’s body bowed at his hard deep thrust it was amazing they didn’t break the kiss.  Reaching out her hands she curled her fingers into the sheets gripping them with tight fists she met every one of his penetrating thrusts.  She emitted a cry of pleasure around his mouth because he continued to kiss her already swollen lips.  Finally needing to breathe she moved her head to gulp air while he continued to move fast and frantic but in perfect unison with her rhythm.  He hadn’t been with the woman he loved in so long the moment didn’t seem to call for slow and tender but fast and hard.  His body was hot and slicked with perspiration along with her essence he’d forgotten she was all fierce passion. It didn’t matter how hard he went at her because she matched his every movement head on.  Her body was just as drenched in sweat, but she seemed to crave the pleasurable pain he was giving.  Duncan began to thrust harder as he felt her body begin to tighten around him this said she was reaching her peak.  He wanted her to fall again before he did, and she seemed to be just as frantic to reach it too.  She began to rock her hips harder pushing into him as he pushed into her.  It wasn’t too long before she reached her ecstasy again throwing back her head while her body arched violently letting out a pure cry of satisfaction.  Her body contracted tightly around him squeezing out an o****m as he felt himself exploding just then his body strained. He whispered one word as the world fell in on him abruptly, “Megan.” Slumping down onto her, he waited for the world to center itself again Megan didn’t mind he was half sprawled across her because the world was finally right.  His head lay on her chest while his chest was across her stomach, but his legs lay on the bed next to hers.  Both were drenched in perspiration and their breathing had yet to calm.  It didn’t matter much too either one of them, “That was amazing,” she finally gasped out. “By God it was, but I think we might have a slight problem,” Duncan leaned up to frown at her. “Don’t look so serious it can’t be that bad,” she replied. Duncan didn’t smile at her attempt to lighten the situation, even though she was smiling with happiness, “I didn’t use any protection.” Megan laughed which made Duncan raise his eyebrows at her, “And what pray tell is so funny.” She tried to talk through the laughter, “Oh Duncan, I love you, so it doesn’t matter if I get pregnant, I’d love to have your baby again.” This time he did smile as he leaned up to tenderly kiss her very swollen lips, “This time you’ll go full term I promise.” Megan sighed wistfully, “Let’s hope if it happens, I’ll go full term and that’ll only happen if Christina Stewart is out of the picture for good.” “Not a problem my love, there’s just one more thing,” he looked like a child hiding candy. “I can’t imagine what it is,” she tried to sit up, but he grabbed her. He rolled over on his back, which had her lying on top of him, “I love you Megan more than life itself marry me.” Megan sat up swiftly finding herself straddling him with tears in her eyes she uttered only one word, “Yes.” He sat up cradling her to him with joy then meeting her blue eyes with his whiskey ones he smiled sweetly at her.  Slowly he began to kiss her again and she sighed while rubbing her hands down his athletic frame.  She loved the little brown hairs he had on his chest especially when they rubbed her already sensitive n*****s.  He felt hot wetness pool down onto his now hardening maleness moving her knees exactly right Megan could move her womanly flesh over him.  He sucked in his breath as she slid over him and then found himself buried deep within her. “Mm, Duncan, I love you,” she whispered. “I love you Megan,” he kissed her swollen lips. “Sometime between now and tomorrow you have to tell me what delayed you at Kincade Jordan’s which kept you away from this.” She felt him laugh deep in his chest as she moved up and down on him, “Deal, now shut up and bring me pleasure,” this time in slow sensual tenderness they moved in perfect unison until once again they found love in each other’s arms. Morning dawned with Christina coming downstairs in the hopes of speak with Emily about Kincade.  Luck was with her because she entered the entryway as Christina descended the stairs.             “Good morning, Emily, I was wondering if we could talk,” she greeted her hopefully soon to be Mother-in-law if she could get Kincade back on track.             “Good morning, Christina yes let’s go into the sitting room,” she took hold of the girl’s arm and guided them into the small room. The room was painted in soft undertones with matching furniture which made it light and breezy in the room.  Sitting on one of the little loveseats Emily looked at Christina and could tell she was upset. “My dear what has you so upset this morning,” she lightly touched the girl’s arm. “I’m leaving,” Christina looked disheartened in honest. This was the first real emotion she’d seen from the girl other than excitement about marrying Kincade, “Why.” “Kincade’s gone crazy, and I just can’t handle it right now.  I tried talking to him about the wedding and us having more children he just lost it.  I think it has to do with Faith, but he won’t listen to me about how I believe she’s just after his money,” she looked away as if she was going to cry it made it look more genuine.  She made most of this up in the hopes of getting Emily angry also. Emily wasn’t completely sure Faith was after Kincade in any manner, but it wouldn’t be for his money.  However, she did know Kincade had feelings for the woman, and it could just be all about Gabe.  She’d find the underlying cause of it all for now she would soothe Christina so if Kincade were willing to marry her things would be all right. “I’ll have a long talk with him today.  Go home and take a spa day for yourself everything will work out just as planned,” she hugged the girl than watched her exit the room to leave the house. “Maria,” she called for the head housekeeper. “Yes Mrs. Jordan,” Maria came into the room. “Find Kincade and tell him I need to speak with him immediately,” Emily wouldn’t tolerate craziness in her house. “Yes ma’am,” Maria left the room to do Emily’s bidding. Faith woke early feeling warm and content then remembered the night of s*x with Kincade.  Turning she looked at his sleeping face so handsome and gentle it made her heart ache.  Could she really have this man, the very man who created a child with her dead sister?  A war began to rage in her mind so quietly she slipped out of the bed finding her clothes, she pulled them on then silently left.  Once in her room she went straight to the bathroom for a shower turning the water on waiting for it to heat up she looked at herself in the mirror.  She looked rumpled and thoroughly loved all over but was it love or lust.  Faith knew she was attracted to him before she even knew he was Kincade Jordan but still it came down to all about Julie.  The water finally heated to her desired temperature removing her robe and gown stepping into the hot shower it felt so good.  Too much into her thoughts, she didn’t hear the door open and close as he came in. Kincade woke the minute Faith closed his bedroom door but didn’t know why she left so early.  Maybe she regretted last night or maybe got what she wanted and just like her sister planned to run away.  Not even a second after the door closed, he jumped up pulling on boxers then glanced at the clock to see it was almost six o’clock in the morning.  No one would be awake no need to get fully dressed grabbing a robe he followed Faith to her room.  Stepping into the room, he saw the bed was empty then heard water coming from the bathroom she was showering and wouldn’t hear him enter.  Entering the bathroom, she was in the shower washing her hair all wet and naked he was instantly hard.  All the bathrooms in his parent’s house were great with a large sunken-jetted tub and large walk-in showers.  Stripping off his robe and boxers, he entered the shower quietly coming up to her.  Faith had been in the shower for only a few minutes when she felt as if she wasn’t alone.  Opening her eyes her indigo ones collided with passion filled violet ones. “Cade, what are you doing here,” Faith whispered. “I do love it when you use my nickname why did you leave,” he wanted to touch her, but her face said something was wrong. “I didn’t want to embarrass you in your family’s home,” she tentatively smiled. He now knew he could touch her, “Ah sweet considerate Faith,” he moved closer to her. “Oh Cade,” she whispered as he pulled her into his arms pressing his hot mouth to hers. The kiss was hot and fierce making Faith groan his strong hands went up and down her wet slick body.  He moved his lips harshly across hers until she whimpered releasing them, he moved down to the nape of her neck while Faith slid her hands easily down his rigid back.  She came around to the front of his torso making him suck in a breath nipping her shoulder before latching his hot mouth onto a wet breast.  Circling the rigid n****e with his hot tongue it caused her to arch into his mouth.  Her head fell back so he took his time with one breast before moving onto the next.  Grabbing one of Faith’s legs, he pulled it up around his waist while she gripped his shoulders and leaned back a bit.  She could feel him pressing against her female flesh, “Now Cade, please,” she panted huskily. He lifted his head from her breast, “Whatever you say.” In one quick move, he dropped her leg turning her around, so she faced the shower wall, “Brace your hands against the wall then open your stance a bit.” She did exactly as he said and in one quick thrust, he was deep inside her, “Oh Cade.” His thrusts were not soft and gentle they were hard, and he moved faster the moment didn’t call for sweetness but hard-core dirtiness.  Her moans were long and loud as he filled her repeatedly with his hard thrusts.  Within minutes, she was pushing herself back into him as he thrust forward into her. “Faster Cade, oh faster,” she moaned then burst into flames as the passion overtook her. “God Faith you’re so hot,” he growled as her warmth surrounded him inside.  Two more hard thrusts and he joined her into ecstasy.  Pulling out he hauled her into his arms kissing her as if she would disappear, “Wow Faith, I mean wow is all I can think right now.” “I feel the same way Cade, but could we get out of the shower since the water is cold now,” she kissed him sweetly. “Of course,” he turned the water off then stepped out grabbing them both towels. As she stepped out, he wrapped a towel around her but kept her in his arms then began kissing her, “I’m sorry I interrupted your shower.” “Don’t be it was wonderful but I’m worried,” she sighed heavily. Before he could ask her why a sudden commotion came from the room as a woman’s voice called out, “Faith are you here.” Faith looked at the clock on the vanity to see it was almost six forty-five making her glance at Kincade, “What could she want at this hour,” Kincade shrugged his shoulders, “Stay here,” she whispered. “Wait,” he grabbed her before she got to the door, “Has she ever been here this early.” “This is the first time she’s ever come this early,” grabbing her robe she put it on then wrapped the towel around her wet hair. “Now wait here,” she smiled at him. “I will, don’t worry, but do hurry,” he smiled back. “I will,” she quickly kissed him then left the bathroom. Susan turned as the bathroom door opened and Faith stepped into the room, “Oh thank goodness you’re here,” she practically sighed with relief. “Susan what’s wrong,” Faith glanced back at the bathroom door, but Susan didn’t see her. “Mother is furious and needs to speak with Cade, but we can’t find him.  Maria grabbed me when she couldn’t,” she rambled so quickly it took Faith a moment to understand. “Oh my, what happened,” Faith was hesitant to ask. Susan suddenly smiled brightly, “Christina stormed downstairs this morning declaring she was leaving because Cade’s gone crazy.  Mother is furious and wants to talk to him and find out what’s going on.” “Oh no, I bet your Mother’s furious because she wants Kincade to marry her,” she sighed heavily. “I don’t care if Mother’s angry I’m glad she’s gone,” Susan was excited. “Yes, but she’ll blame this on me,” Faith wanted to be the next one to leave now. Susan hugged Faith, “Don’t worry Cade and I’ll watch over you.” “She’s right besides once she sees how happy you make me, she’ll get over it,” Kincade said from the doorway of the bathroom. When they both turned at the sound of his voice Faith was happy at least he was wearing a robe, “Cade there you are we’ve been looking all over for,” she trailed off as the scene finally registered to her. Faith saw the dawning of understanding begin to cross her face then sheer joy filled her eyes.  She smiled at her brother while Faith searched Kincade’s twinkling violet eyes then blushed beautifully. “This is wonderful I knew you two were perfect for each other,” Susan burst out with excitement, “By the way Cade, Mother’s looking for you,” then she left. Kincade walked over to Faith dropping his robe showing her he was completely naked, “Cade you really need to get dressed and talk to your Mother.” “I’ll speak with her later right now I want you,” he pulled her into his arms. Slowly moving her robe off one shoulder, he began nibbling on her bare shoulder causing her to shiver, “Cold.” “No,” Faith sighed sweetly “Because if you are, I can warm you up,” Kincade moved his mouth down to one of her breasts, “I love your breasts there so full and silky.” “Cade,” she whispered. He pushed her robe all the way off her body where it pooled on the floor.  In a flash, he ripped off the towel, so he could bury his fingers deep into her hair.  Pulling her head back, he captured her lips with a kiss that explained what he was all about and all thoughts of Christina, and Kincade’s Mother fled.  They melted once again together in the pleasure only they could bring each other. Several hours later Kincade came downstairs to find his Mother in the kitchen preparing the lunch menu for today.  Faith got dressed then went to get Gabe from Joy and get him ready for the day they agreed to meet out by the pond this afternoon for a picnic.  Kincade was now in the kitchen to see if the cook would make up a special picnic basket for them and found his Mother. “Well, Kincade you finally decided to grace me with your presence,” Emily was not happy about him making her wait. “I’m sorry Mother but I was engaged in something.  Maria, can you please make me up a nice picnic basket,” he smiled at the little cook/housekeeper. “Of course, Mr. Jordan,” she smiled at him. “Now Mother I heard you wished to speak with me,” he turned to smile at her. She noticed he was extremely happy this morning and it’s been quite a long time since she’d seen this, “Yes I wished to speak with you about Christina,” at the mention of her Kincade’s happiness seemed to fade a bit. “What about her,” he asked. “Let’s go into another room where we can talk privately,” she turned to leave and expected him to follow, which he did. They entered the sitting room where Emily sat down on the loveseat while Kincade walked over to look out the window, “Christina came down this morning to inform me she spoke with you about a few things, and you went crazy.” “I know you both have been discussing marriage without consulting me first.  I want you to know Christina and I will not be marrying because I’m not in love with her.” Emily was a bit shocked even though she had a feeling this was coming, “But Kincade she is a perfect match for the family.” “She is only perfect in your mind because of great lineage but I don’t care about that.  I want to marry for love and that’s what I’ll do.” She sighed heavily, “I had a feeling this was coming when you showed up with that woman.” “That woman is Gabe’s aunt, and her name is Faith.  Yes, I have strong feelings for her,” he moved to sit by her. “I don’t understand why you would pick her over Christina when you two have been dating for a while and you just meet Faith.” He sighed, “I meet Faith a few times without knowing who she was.  I’ve had an attraction to her and now its developed into something more.  I don’t know if its love or what, but I want to give it a chance and see where it goes.  I know she’s having a tough time with her feelings because she feels it’s a betrayal to Julie.” “All right Kincade but I wish you would have at least picked a girl who had better lineage.” He chuckled, “I know but you’ll come to like her and not for her background.” She smiled at him, “We’ll see.” He stood and leaned down to kiss her on the cheek, “I’ll see you later.” She watched him walk out of the room with a light step in his walk and couldn’t help but smile.  Emily went to her husband’s office to make a phone call, Christina heard her cellphone ring and looked to see it was Emily.  She was so happy because this meant Emily had the talk with Kincade and was calling to tell her everything was fine. “Hello,” she quickly answered the phone. “Hello Christina,” Emily said. “Oh, Emily I’m so happy you called,” she happily replied. “I know you are, but I’ve called to say I’ve talked to Kincade, and he has made it very clear he isn’t going to marry right now.” “I don’t understand,” she was beginning to get sick. “Let me finish, I believe with the birth of Gabe he’s just doesn’t know where he is going with life right now.  I know whatever he does it will have to include his son and other children.” “It’s because of Faith,” she felt her anger spark and tried to control it. Emily heard the anger in the woman’s voice this was an emotion she’d never saw or heard from the woman, “Like I said I believe it’s because of Gabe right now, give it some time.” “Fine,” she hung up.  How in the hell could this have happened?  She needed to regroup and figure out how to get him back.  Emily heard dial tone and was surprised the woman hung up on her, maybe everyone was right, and Christina wasn’t meant for the family. Faith got Gabe getting him ready for the day then preparing to head out to the pond.  She was meeting Kincade they were going to have some private time.  Putting Gabe in his basket, she walked down to the pond where she saw he was already there.  She saw a blanket laying on the ground next to the pond with a basket but there was no sign of Kincade.  Putting Gabe down on the blanket she knelt to look in the basket and see what kind of food was available.  A shadow fell over her and knew it was Kincade, “Sorry I went to get something.” She stood turning to face him,” It’s all right.” He stood there with a hand full of wildflowers for her, “Oh Cade,” she wanted to cry at how sweet he was. Taking one of the flowers he broke part of the stem off then put in her hair, “You always take my breath away when I look at you.” “I don’t know what I’m feeling it’s all so crazy,” she took the flowers from his hand to set it on the blanket next to the basket. He sat down on the blanket with his legs stretched out before him while he watched her take the food out.  He heard Gabe cooing in his basket so pulled it to him and saw his son looking so happy. “Hello little fellow, aren’t you looking cute,” he tickled his son’s cheek. Faith smiled to herself and knew he was making her fall in love with him she paused in what she was doing.  Was she falling in love with Kincade or was it just her emotions all mixed up because of the rollercoaster she’s been on lately?  They ate while talking about nothing important at all.  When they finished eating, Kincade was leaning against the tree providing shade with Faith between his legs leaning back against him.  He wanted to pull her underneath him and make love, but someone might show up. “Cade,” she began but he interrupted her again. “Will you do me a favor,” he asked. “Yes,” she said. “Call me Cade all the time,” he nibbled on her neck. “Always,” she decided she liked calling him by his nickname and it always seemed to excite him. “Now you wanted to ask me something,” he continued to kiss and nibble on her neck. “You’ve decided you want more children,” she remarked. “Yes,” he wanted to kiss her sweet mouth. “How many children would you like?” “I haven’t thought about it,” his hands began to move up toward her breasts. “I’ve decided because Julie and I never had a lot of family I’d like to have several children, so they won’t be alone like us.” “I think that’s a wonderful idea,” he took one hand and turned her face, so he could kiss her sweet mouth. Suddenly there was a loud cough causing the two to break apart and found Emily standing there watching them, “Sorry to interrupt but Kincade has an urgent phone call.” “All right,” the two stood up so Kincade could take his call but before he left, he whispered in her ear, “I want to take you out tonight so wear something nice,” a quick kiss and he was gone. Faith found herself alone with Kincade’s Mother, so she began to clean up the picnic while Emily went over to pick up Gabe, “How is my little grandson today.” He cooed at her as if saying I’m fine, “You are getting so big.  I wanted to tell you Kincade broke things off with Christina today.” Faith stood to turn toward her, “He did.” “Yes,” she was cradling Gabe gently in her arms. “I suppose you blame me,” Faith couldn’t help but want to put everything out there on the table. “I do actually but I told Kincade I’d give you a chance because he seems to care deeply for you.  If you make him happy then I’ll give you a chance.” “I guess thank you is all I can say,” Faith had everything packed up and was ready to head for the house. Emily wanted to smile because the girl was spunky, “You know I only like Christina because of her lineage.” “I know, and you wished I had a better background,” they began to walk toward the house with Faith carrying the picnic basket and blanket.  Emily put Gabe back in his basket and was carrying it. “I do, but that isn’t going to stop Kincade from trying to develop a relationship with you.  I have to accept this and make the best of it.” Faith had, had enough of all this, “Sit down Mrs. Jordan,” she said as they came to the bench underneath the willow tree. Emily a bit shocked by the tone in Faith’s voice did as she asked.  Sitting Gabe on the ground at her feet while Faith sat the picnic basket and blanket down then sat next to the woman. Faith sighed heavily because she never liked to throw out the fact her grandmother came from a great background, “I have a confession to make, I hesitate to divulge this information because I don’t like people to know.  I actually come from a very prominent family lineage.” Emily’s curiosity was now peaked, “Who.” “My Grandmother on my Dad’s side was a Berkley.” “Oh, my, but didn’t she marry below her status,” Emily was shocked. “Yes, she fell in love with my Grandfather and her family said if she married him, they would disown her.  She married him anyway because she loved him, but they made their own way.” “I still can’t believe it, why would they allow it,” Emily couldn’t understand. “For one thing, my Grandmother did what she wanted because she was a very stubborn woman.  She wasn’t going to allow anyone to tell her what she could and could not do but now you know.  I’d like it if you didn’t tell Kincade any of this.” “That’s your choice dear and I’ll keep your confidence,” she smiled at the girl. “I didn’t tell you any of this to make you like me it’s just, not everyone who comes from good lineage is worthy of it.” “You’re talking about Christina,” she looked a bit confused. “Mrs. Jordan there is someone here to see Miss. Summers,” Maria came out of the house to say. Megan came out from behind the little woman, “Afternoon ladies,” she smiled at them. “Megan, how wonderful to see you again,” Emily stood and embraced the girl. “It’s nice to see you too Emily but I came to speak with Faith,” she looked over at the woman. “Of course, don’t forget to see the new addition to the family.  I’ll talk to you later Faith,” Emily turned and followed Maria into the house.
