Every day it got harder for Jack not to remember every second of magic that he experienced in Kelly"s arms. Every beat of her heart next to her chest when they were holding each other watching the sunset lying on the sand of the beach. He remembered her breathing and every sigh he stole from Kelly when he kissed her, it wasn"t easy for Jack to ignore what he felt when he looked at her. Thomas, his friend, slipped away every day with some excuse to talk to Kelly. And Brigadier Alfred Jeferson walked by Kelly whenever he could, and comments were already being made about them on base.
