***Warning: Loss*** Kendria I was holed up in my room. There was no other way to describe it. We joined the pack at a small bonfire in the clearing, and returned to the packhouse to watch movies in the great room. I left Rowan downstairs with Shasta, Harlie, and Mason, saying I wanted to change into pajamas, but once I got up here, I found myself sitting on my bed, staring into space and thinking too much. The evening had gone well. Rowan was friendly and jovial, putting everyone around him at ease. I could see my pack members warming up to him throughout the evening. Mason, ever the easy-going goofball, was a hit with the kids, especially. Everything seemed to be going according to plan. Except me.
