The next two days went by quickly. I kept busy, keeping in contact with the wolves on patrol on Mount Haven, arranging Peter's trip to Harvest Moon for the trial, training with the wolves in my delegation, and, most of all, spending time with Rowan.
It was, in a word, incredible. He gave me a tour of the fields and orchards—staying far away from the territory lines, of course—and showed me some of his favorite spots. He and Mason joined our delegation at mealtimes, except for the candlelit picnic Mason surprised Harlie with the evening after they met. I tagged along with him while he coordinated with his pack members to keep the Gathering running smoothly, which was unfolding around us with in a series of meetings and events.
