“Former Beta has already informed the council about the situation here,” Ronan said while helping me get dressed, his tone controlled but slightly tense, as if he was still weighing how the council would react.

“Luna Marianna taking over the role of Luna. They aren’t very happy about it.”
I let out a small scoff as I adjusted my cuff.
“Why not? They asked me to marry her. Now she is taking over her role as Luna.”
