Chapter Nine

I had walked right past Lydia who had screamed at me to get out but I had not for once turned back. I am now facing the door at the middle of the floor. I push it, surprised to find it open. I enter and oh my gosh..Is that..

"Luca!!" I shout out in joy causing him to stand right up from where he is crouching right beside Andrea who doesn't acknowledge my presence instead focusing his gaze on whatever he is doing on his laptop. Luca face lit up as soon as his gaze meets mine.

"Oh my...wings is that you?" he walks closer to where I am standing and hugs me so tight and we both continue to grin like idiots.

"cut it out Luca. you guys met only once and you are acting like you have known each other since forever" Andrea says rolling his eyes.

"Nice to meet you too" I say with sarcasm.

"What are you doing here?" Andrea asks with distaste. I wonder why he hates me so much, it's not like I want to snatch his twin brother away from him.

"Just go back to whatever it is you were doing and pretend like I never entered" I retort.

"Don't pay attention to him Wings. What brings you up here? or have you been stalking me" Luca says jokingly and I am about to tell him Anna had told me to come here but someone cuts me off even before I open my mouth "don't tell me you are the lady Anna told us about" I look up to see fake Roberto.

"Roberto is that you?" I ask genuinely surprised.

"Roberto? you got it wrong bonita. He is Kelvin and doesn't even look like a Roberto" the same deep voice that belongs to the guy I met yesterday says. I look up to catch him standing at a door in only a sweatpant and bare chested, his tattoos in full display. He has a towel between his hands, he wipes the sweat from his forehead. It is obvious he just finished working out. He looks so fit and I can't help but drool

"It is a good thing you finally found something else to drool over apart from food" Luca whispers loud enough for everyone to hear. I snap out from my reverie and stomp Luca's foot so hard causing him to cry out.

"You shout like a girl Luca" I say and make my waves cover my face to hide the blush on my cheek as I feel the man from last night gaze on me with amusement in his eyes.

"I don't whine" Luca

"Yeah you do" Andrea supports me for the first time since I have known him. He gives me a small wink.

"I am Ken and I guess you should be Rosa" The god-like man introduces taking my hand in his. I can feel the tingling sensation in my palm. I have never felt like this towards a guy before. 

"Ken, I think you should put on a shirt before you get eye f****d" No one but Kelvin says and everyone burst out laughing except Ken who just stare at me with a smirk on his lips.

"Kelvin there is the boss here, not the big boss though as I am sure you know the company's headquarters is at Italy right?" I continue to stare at him until I realize he is talking to me "yeah...Fake Roberto, is the boss here. I get it. it's obvious though"

"It is?" Kelvin or fake Roberto asks.

"of course. it's literally already weekend and you are the only one dressed in a three-piece suit" I tell him causing him to scowl at me.

"Rosalina why don't you have Lydia show you around. I will be right outside to give you a run down of your work" Ken says and leads me outside. 

"Anna said not to speak to Lydia"I tell him blinking my eyes furiously. That's what happens when I am nervous.

"Then have Anna show you around instead" he gives me a gentle smile that displays the dimples on his cheek. I nod and walk away before I do anything stupid like kissing him. Don't flatter yourself Rosa, you are not brave enough to do that.

I walk pass Lydia who has a frown on her face. I don't like her already and if I am going to be working here, she better steer clear away from me. I walk up to Anna as soon as I get to the first floor. It looks like she's been waiting for me, maybe Ken called her already.

NARRATOR'S POV

"When did you have your name changed to Ken?" Luca asks the Don as soon as he steps back in. 

"I will bear whatever name I want to" the Don replies his younger brother as he sits on one of the armchair in the room.

"She was the lady who ruined my chances of speaking to the Princess yesterday" Kelvin announces and take a sit next to Andrea, his thigh brushing against Andrea's own at the action causing Andrea to stiffen. At least Rosalina isn't the only one that is developing feelings for someone else.

"You mean you don't know who she is?" The Don asks and Kelvin shrugs.

"Rosalina Scott" Luca says helping Kelvin out.

"Jacob..."Kelvin starts to say but stops as Ken raises his hand to cut him off "it is Ken now. Don't call me Jacob" Kelvin looks at his bestfriend and laughs with no humour "Ken sounds like a grandfather's name" he says causing Ken to glare at him.

"I still prefer it to Kelvin" Ken says challenging his bestfriend.

"Why did you tell her I was in charge?" Kelvin asks changing the subject.

"you were the only one dressed in a suit, besides you always have a serious expression on your face all day and that's how most Boss appears" Luca replies for the Don.

"I wasn't asking you" Kelvin angrily says to Luca who just laughs him off.

"In order for me to get to know her, I can't act as a boss. " Ken finally answers his bestfriend question.

"You like her right?" Luca asks his brother.

"I am not going to answer that question Luca because I know you to be a two face devil" Ken replies standing up to pour himself a drink.

"What do you mean by that?" his brother stands following after him.

"Luca, whatever my answer may be, you will surely find a way to taunt me with it so I will just pass on that question" he drinks the scotch directly from the bottle. He hands it to Luca and walk out the door to head to the top floor where he lives in other to get changed into a proper cloth.

ROSALINA'S POV

"I am exhausted" I say to Anna as we both flop down on a couch in her personal office which I had no idea she owns until few minutes ago.

"I know right" she stands up and brings me a bottle of water which I gulp down almost immediately.

"The last two floors are restricted from entering. Nobody is allowed there except Ken and Kelvin and maybe my boyfriend and his twin brother" she explains.

"your boyfriend works here? did you just mention he is a twin?" I ask.

"Yes" 

"Yes that he works here or that he has a twin brother?" she flops down next to me again "yes he works here and he also have a twin brother who works here" 

"is it Luca?" I guess and she smiles sweetly.

"Of course. I see you've met him, but how come you guessed so right?" Anna

"That's because I am sure you can't be dating that dickhead Andrea. His personality fits so well with Kelvin" I say and she laugh "well I guess you are smart then. what if I tell you Andrea have had this long time crush on Kelvin" she says. Really? Andrea loves Kelvin.

"Andrea is gay?" I ask curiously and she shakes her head " He is demi-s****l"she clarifies.

"same thing"I say and she sits upright facing me

"it isn't the same thing. a demi-s****l can also be attracted to a girl, it just means he is sexually attracted to a person he has an emotional bond with" she explains and whatever that is, I don't know.

"On Monday, you start fully. You are to resume by 8AM as Ken's assistance" Ken's assistance? oh my gosh.

" I get to work with Ken?" I say my face turning into a tomato.

"if you are going to be blushing like this everytime Ken is mentioned, I wonder how you will handle being locked up in a office with only him" she laughs at my red cheeks. I cover my face with my palm "I can't help it"

"it's not a new thing. I can't count the number of girls Ken fired for throwing themselves shamelessly at him" 

"Ken fires his partners? I thought Kelvin was the boss" and color drains from her face as if she suddenly realizes she said something she wasn't suppose to say "erhmm..I meant Kelvin...yeah Kelvin...I got to go. Bye. see you next week" she gets up and runs out of the room leaving me to wonder what the f**k just happened.
