In a private hospital, inside a VIP room...
"Dad, how are you feeling?" Harper asked, worry etched across her face as she looked at Wald, who had just undergone a full-body check-up.
She never imagined Wald would get shot while attending a meeting at that estate!
"Much better. Don't worry too much."
Wald, in his forties, looked pale and weak.
The mysterious gunshot from last night still sent chills down his spine.
He had just finished his meeting and was heading back to his room when he heard a gunshot. Before he could react, he collapsed to the ground.
Luckily, the bullet missed any vital organs, and although it had been removed, the incident left him shaken.
"Mr. Lianes, all the cameras in that hallway were down," reported the staff.
"What did the estate manager say?" Wald asked
