After Asher informed me of his decision at breakfast, I decided to take my time to check out the paintings that hung in the hallway, of course, I’ve brushed past them several times and I’ve even spared them the occasional glance, but now I wanted to take my time to take a good look at the art, of course with Damon as close to my as possible - not that he’d leave me alone after everything that happened two days ago.
I shoot him a sidelong glance, and I’m unsurprised to see that he’s already staring at me intently. I sigh, roll my eyes and return my attention to the painting. This one’s the closest one to Asher’s office, and no, I didn’t choose
