MAYA’S POV
“Thank you.”
“You’re welcome,” Beta Kierra replied. I had gotten used to thanking her after every training session.
She walked away, but I stayed back. Lycan Rasmus was still on the training ground, and he might have plans to train me. Training with Beta Kierra drained some of my energy, but I still had some left for him to drain.
He had a sword in his hand and was doing his thing. I walked up to him, and he instantly stopped what he was doing. One of the guards handed a bottle of water to him, and he began to gulp it down.
My eyes got stuck on his throat. The way he gulped made me recall one of our nasty moments in bed. A mild smile appeared on my face. It wasn’t bad reliving those moments even though we haven’t been making new memories.
