MAYA’S POV
One of Rasmus’s drivers drove into the compound. Rasmus stood next to me while we held hands. We waited for the driver to park the car, and then we headed toward it.
We were both in the living room when we heard the car honk, and we left immediately after we heard it. I opened the car door and set my eyes on Beta Kierra. I couldn’t help but give her a hug.
“I’m so sorry this happened to you.”
“Come on, it’s not your fault.” She patted my back.
It was my idea that she be brought back to the mansion even though her injuries weren’t healed yet. Unlike me, it takes the healer about seven days to heal each patient brought to his clinic.
