DAMIEN’S POV
All this time, I didn't give up on my mission to kill Lycan Rasmus. I only took a break so I could prepare for the next attack. I still wanted Lycan Rasmus's pack by all means. I’ve always wanted his pack.
The only reason I had Maya spy on his pack while she was still here with me was because I wanted his pack. I also made my pack clash with his about a year ago because I wanted his pack, but unfortunately, he won. I thought Maya lost her life in that battle.
Now, Lycan Rasmus had just given me another reason to attack his pack as soon as possible. When that happens, I’d take over his pack and I’d take Maya. The only way to stop the mate bond from tearing at me was to set my eyes on her again.
