MAYA’S POV
“I thought I just caught a thief,” I said while walking into my room.
“Well, you didn’t,” she responded.
I found the door to my room open, and then I saw a werewolf close to my closet. It was the reason I exclaimed. It was after I exclaimed that I realized Beta Kierra was the werewolf in question.
She moved away from my closet and got to where I was. I needed her to tell me what she was doing in my room without me asking her. She wasn’t just in my room, she was close to my closet.
“You look excited.”
“That’s because I am,” I muttered.
It must be written all over me that I was excited at the moment. I didn’t have a smile on, but she still figured it out somehow. My energy at the moment must really be contagious. That could be how she figured it out.
