Just like that, the hope of me living a happy life with Lycan Rasmus dashed away right before my eyes, and I could do nothing about it. My life was nothing but pathetic and miserable.
For a moment, I thought the moon goddess had finally decided to compensate me for all I went through right from when I was born to when I finally escaped from Alpha Damien and Kendra.
If there was one thing I knew, it was that Alpha Damien would never reject me as his mate even if a gun was pointed at his head. He definitely didn’t reject me because he wanted me to be miserable.
I assumed he would have marked Kendra as his, but I was wrong. He wouldn’t watch me live a happy life as long as he breathes, even if it meant him not marking a woman as his and never getting married.
