RASMUS’S POV
I stepped in and I wasn’t surprised to see Maya in the living room with her eyes on the television screen. I made sure to return on time so we could spend time together. Beta Kierra wasn’t with her, she must be in the middle of something important.
“Hi,” I said after I got close to her. It was my way of announcing my presence.
“Welcome, you’re back early,” she mentioned after her eyes landed on me. She looked excited to see me, and that didn’t make me feel bad.
“Yes.”
“How was your meeting with the elders?” she asked. I knew she would.
“It went well, those old men had something to say as usual.”
