MAYA’S POV “You know you don’t have to keep avoiding me, right?” I said to Kira just as she was about to step out of the mansion. My words must have been the reason she paused. Her back view was all I could see, perhaps this was the part where she would turn around so our eyes could meet. I remained on the bottom stairs with my arms folded.
