RASMUS’S POV
I was supposed to be next to Maya right now, but I chose to be here in the living room because it was important. I also needed to return to her on time or she would come searching for me the moment she found out I wasn’t next to her.
Beta Kierra and the head of security showed up. I had sent for them. They had no option but to show up even though I summoned them in the middle of the night. I didn’t want to wait until morning before speaking to them about what was on my mind.
“The rogue we held captive, has he said anything that may interest me?” I asked. Either of them could give me a response.
“After we tortured him, the only thing he said was that Alpha Damien sent them and that he promised them a part of the pack in return.”
“My pack or his pack?”
“Your pack, Lycan,”
