“What about the pack soldiers? What are they doing?”
“This isn’t about the pack soldiers. No one prepared for this. We didn’t see it coming,” Beta Kierra replied to me.
My cupped hand landed on my mouth. This was all my fault. I knew Damien so well, and I ought to have known that he would stop at nothing to have me brought back to him. I should have known that he’d strike this soon.
